I think Olympic lifts, specifically certain variations can be very beneficial for boxers and often get overlooked. I get what he's saying about them being over technical and time consuming to learn, but I think simpler variations, for example a hang power clean, or a jerk, are fairly simple to learn, and can be really beneficial in terms of training athletes to be powerful and explosive. I do agree that there's many other movements that can be effective for that, but olympic variations still might be king!
