As I said before thank you for showing us the double spreader. I had a bunch handed down to me but never used them. After seeing you use them we tried. Love it. Keeps the lines up and clear.
Thanks.. funny to hear my name one someone else's channel.. still interested in the 'spreader' . Got my 2nd pony at New Year, still not driven them as a pair yet.. can't avoid busy roads.. bought some woodland last summer, hoping to move the ponies there soon
good farmer fix! I fixed this old B's shifter with a horseshoe nail! Good plowing! We learned a knot like that in boy scouts, I believe it's called a bowline knot!
Great job, Brandt! I did notice the plow handles seemed to be a little short. I have a pioneer 12” walking plow and bought the longest handles I could get and swapped them out. It allows for the arms to stay more bent and be able to stand up straighter with less stress on the arms and back. That’s just my opinion, though! I’m 6’5” and really need the longer handles anyway! On a couple of other walking implements I use, I just scabbed some more handles onto what was already on there! Ain’t everybody a 5’5” Amish guy! Lol
I know everyone has their reasons for doing things a certain way. Personally I don't use spreaders or a center ring. I did have a team that was bad at getting the lines under the end of the pole so I hooked spreaders to the "gag swivels" on the bridel and it worked great. In one of your videos you should explain what a Sweeney is. Happy Easter to the Ainsworth Family.

Thank you. Give me a few days and we’ll get setup online for double spreaders.
Like to see all of your plows 😊
It’s a bit of an indulgence I have.

I’m a big guy too. I’ve often thought about longer handles. Now that you told your experience, I think I’ll try to get a set.
Sounds just as windy there as it has been here in Wisconsin. We are expecting rain tonight. Great explanation even with the wind.
Thank you

We live not far apart. We’re friends.
I'd be interested in a set of double spreaders
Okay. Hopefully we’ll have a website linked soon.
Good horses. I do not believe that they need overchecks at all.
Thank you. I used to feel the same, but have become a believer in them.
