Rip to the person that’s life got taken by this roller coaster today…
Yes, agree 😢
I wonder where on the ride they flew off
I’m a fan of these rides since I was a kid in the 1970s and have often thought “what if …..” as I’m dangling way up on a piece of rusty metal. Thankfully accidents are rare but they still scare the shit out of me …..
And not this one. The othe coaster. In germany Name is Wilde Maus. There are Single Waggon
Who flew off? A kid?
It was built in 1988 and restored in 2000. Then 23 years passed. It is way too long time. It should have been restored earlier. It has had over one million rides. I ride it every time I visit Gröna Lund.
I was supposed to ride it today
@@tulipsq019 Thankfully you didn't!
most parks dont restore rides its usually 30 years thjis is poor maitnece i bet

You should read the google reviews of this roller coaster. there are older reviews from years ago that describe that the ride had become shaky and dangerous. 🤔
Rest In Peace to the person who passed away on this ride, 25/6/23🕊🤍
😢
so sad...
Today 25.6.2023 this ride's cart fell off tracks.
My brother was on it that day but luckily not on the one that went off track.
1 dead. 2 badly injured.
I'll follow the news.
Yes, we've seen the news. It's so very sad 😢
Alright. This one ended today, Sunday, June 25th 2023.
Tragic deadly accident. Derailment with victims thrown out down on the ground. At least one dead. 😔
Yes, we've just seen the devastating news. So, so sad.
Yeah I just came to look up a POV after seeing the news. That’s absolutely awful
@@jtbowman132 Just in:
Two eyewitnesses told a reporter that the victims were thrown out from very high level. Apparently from the highest position. Could be that a whole car was derailed and fell from the rails. We have to prepare for more causalties. Several injured.
@@XtremeCoastersi was there today. All i saw was a man sitting on a pole or something. I never saw any injured or any blood. The man sitting there was all i saw. I think he is physically alright but definetly traumatized
@@Unbreakable245 The information regarding the injured victims varies between nine to fourteen, right now, depending on the sources, the police, the media, the hospitals.
Great video, I love how dense this park is, really makes the most of the space
Thank you 🙂 Yes, it's crazy how many other rides and coasters this interacts with.
This is a nightmares twin, I still miss Knightmare. Too bad an accident happened on it, both coasters were in cruel twist of fate!
This kinda reminds me of the coaster in Final Destination. Nightmare come true! RIP to the deceased.
Anybody know if this coaster is going to be removed?
Nothing has been confirmed outside of the coaster being closed for the rest of this season. It's likely we'll know more after the outcome of the investigation.
Rest in peace to the deceased person and prayers for the 14 injured today.
Yes, it is so tragic 😪
Just happened an accident there
It did not
@@hej4703wdym it did not?😭

Its fucking true!
Seems so smooth! for a ~35 year old coaster! Fantastic POV mate :)
Thank you, yes it 's really smooth. That's the magic of Schwarzkopf coasters :)
@@XtremeCoastersLoL
I rode it in 2018, but that was over a year before I officially launched my TH-cam channel.
RIP 25/6 2023
Such sad news :(
A curved chain lift. Crazyness I tell you
Anton Schwarzkopf was a genius 🙂
As a mechanic I had nearly had a panic attack lmao
@@whiskyeet 😂😂😂
Great video
Thank you :)
This looks fun!
It's amazing 😁
But not for those who were injured or killed
The way the CHAINLIFT turns 💀
It's classic Schwarzkopf. He used a lot of curved lift hills on his coasters (Olympia Looping etc). The earlier models had tyre drives, later models had chain lifts.
@@XtremeCoastersthanks for explaining this! I’m an enthusiast but I didn’t know that yet
Someone died today, very sad.
Sadly, yes they did 😢
Awesome ride! Would like to try it.
It's amazing 🙂
Someone died on it today
Looks like a lot of fun.
It's amazing. Way more forceful than it looks!
RIP to Jetline
Indeed. We really hoped it could have been saved, but understand why the park had to make the decision they have.
@XtremeCoasters I'm more thick headed so I don't truthfully understand but it's not my decision. It was one of the major attractions for me for the park so not sure about it now.
@@greatplanesman It was our favourite in the park as well. Let's hope they can replace it with something that's equally as good.
At the start with the banking chain lift hill, I was thinking Schwarzkopf coaster, like Olympia Munich looping only jetline doesn't have the vertical loops, does jetline have the shoulder restraints like olympia looping
Just a lap bar 😁
@@XtremeCoasters hmmm that's interesting
@@daveswhoreviews May I ask what that means?
@@Terra101 i was just curious about the restraints on this coaster as ive only done 1 Schwarzkopf coaster
Fun!
It sure was 🙂
I wish I got to ride it
😢
You'll still be able to. Just like every other roller coaster accident that's ever happened... maybe with the exception of the Sandblaster, investigators will detect the cause and Grona Lund will make changes so that it's the safest coaster on Earth.
Look at Mind Bender if you're unconvinced: I've even heard enthusiasts say it's got so many redundant safety mechanisms that it's too uncomfortable to enjoy.
I get that there was an accident, but isn't closing the ride going overboard? They could've gotten new trains so they won't have to keep buying third party parts that aren't good quality. There are options and they chose one of the worst ones.
It is disappointing that such an iconic coaster is going to get removed from the park and scrapped. The park however decided this would be the best decision, more out of respect to the people affected by the accident.
Based on the accident photos, it seems like the portion at 1:40 is where the cars finally stopped and the drop at 1:34 is probably where the wheel assembly came off. I'm guessing that they had about 6 seconds of shaking and grinding before the nose dug into the track and ejected the passengers, with the restraints never opening but obviously not being designed for sudden forward momentum.
As bad as it was, it could have happened further from the ground and more people could have died. My heart goes out to the survivors and families.
It's so sad, such a tragedy 😢
