Yup, they got significantly softer with Anna's departure and the change of the lineup. Yet some of their new songs still have traces of "old Eluveitie". I think it's only because Chrigel is still there.

When I was in high school i found this song, blasted in my headphones in between classes or when smoking weed with buddies, great memories

Chrigel is one of the best Harsh Vocalists in the world,that's for sure.
Not only that,but he is a great musician as well,he writes lyrics and rough sketches of all the songs for Eluveitie,plays Flutes Mandola and BagPipes,
He is just incredible.

I agree, I used not to like growl but since I fell in love with Eluveitie I started to adore Chrigiel's voice as well. Not that I was forced, it happened just automatically and it was a beautiful experience. Not only that it's cool, the lyrics are just pure poetry: "I smile while I demise and while I die"... it's just touching how emotional they are.

I can't believe it. I'm about to buy my ticket for Eluveitie's show at the Club Soda in Montréal on december 15th, 2012. A little early some would say but one can never be too careful. I discovered this band only about a month ago, I haven't managed to get my hand on all their cds yet but I have been playing "Everything Remains as it Never Was" in my car on a loop ever since I bought it last month and I am officially hooked! Love you guys!
