I've watched about 10 videos on virtualization, and this one was the best by far. That you for the clear and concise presentation - I have a firm grasp of the information provided now.
Some people are just too good at presentation and explaining stuff this guy is one of them. i wish you do the tutorial on configuration and the administration on VMware Vsphere.
Thank you! I think I finally understand virtualization. It's a (hypervisor) layer with generic drivers that can operate on any OS and sees the hardware as generic. If you hadn't explained why restore has to occur on the same hardware, I don't think I would have understood.
Nice job explaining virtualization (much better than IBM video). It probably works for people in I/T but will others understand the terminology or maybe it doesn't matter as you're selling to I/T? I don't work in tech any more for lots of reasons but got Masters in Computer Science from RPI in 1973. Lots of professors from GE Research & they'd already built virtual machines so when I started working at IBM, their new concept didn't seem new and ... it certainly doesn't seem new now.
Now, I am more confused than ever. Not that I hadn´t understood great part of the explanation, but about the MANY virtualization systems available. What´s the difference between VMware, nComputing, Winconnect VS, dedicated thin clients, using old PCs as thin clients...Cloud computing ...There´s a difference between virtualization and cloud computing ? Hummm
+Binoy George He was going really slow, actually. If you pause the video you can probably look up terms your are not familiar with to keep up, but he can't go and explain what every word means. Hope this helps.

I cannot agree more!
Watching this in 2019, helped a lot for my networking degree! Thanks
This was the best video I found to explain this concept in layman's terms. Thank you!

Pretty useful thanks
thanks bro
PS Haven't heard anyone talk about SCSI boards since I left IBM's mainframe hardware lab in 1992 ... too funny!

Learn how to install type 2 hypervisor (Virtualization) practically from the following link: th-cam.com/video/FCUf8yxHy9A/w-d-xo.html
Please explain slowly... Disappointed!!
+Binoy George Try reducing the speed to 0.5 under the "Settings" cog.
