Finding Halls Creek Gold Nuggets and Western Australia Adventure

  • In this video we head to Halls Creek in northern Western Australia on an adventure in search of finding gold nuggets whilst metal detecting. With soaring temperatures well into the forties we push on and find a good amount of gold despite the conditions. These nuggets are not water worn like I'm used to here in Tasmania. It was a great trip away and I hope you enjoy seeing us hunt down those elusive gold nuggets.

    Hi Boys, Thanks for the vid and the insight of detecting in the west. It's bad enough over here in the east when the temp gets to 35c, can't imagine out detecting in 45c. Maybe no humidity out there though would make it a bit easier.
    Great gold, so the monster no good over there, what to hot for it. Dennis

    NEXT TIME you're on western Austria, go to queen's land IN THE WOODED AREAS...................................................... The Odesy team needed 140,000 for permits in order to use their dryblower. Reduced to just metal detectors, IN TWO HOURS, they detected $110,000 in nuggets. They called the area (ETHAN'S PATCH)

    Nothing like halls creek to bugger up your ideas on gold prospecting. It isn't where you think it will be. I saw some nice 47 oz bits come out of Brockman's. one was found in a windrow by an aboriginal. You were not using leg protection so you were avoiding the spinifex. Didn't head down into the Tanami desert to see wolf creek crater?

    I have a gold monster they are virtually unusable in W.A. Ya better off getting an old sd 2100 or 2200 for the same price. Good luck on the next hunt.

    • @bumfaces666
      @bumfaces666 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@officialtassieboysprospecting I'm running a boosted 2100, still goes alright. If I had more time to get out there I'd get something better. The monster is just too noisy but any half decent detector will find the gold, ya just have to walk over it.

    Hey guys I used to work at Halls creek in a couple of alluvial gold mines about 25 years ago, the heat was extreme alright and no aircons in the old trucks or machines either we used to have to stop on the haul Rd and jump in the dams to cool off. Some good memories of Palm Springs too !!
