I go to my Costco about 3-4 times a year only, and I hate it every time because of the people who treat it as some sort day out activity. It's in Mexico so the product assortment is much more unique than other stores, and I have a chest freezer I fill up with a bunch of freezer goods, but it's getting less and less attractive to devote a weekday morning to avoid the crowds just to go.
lol, crates of kitkats and kettlecorn. I've had a costco membership for years and so did my mom and grandma before her. The place has a learning curve that's for sure and I'm sure every new membership holders wallet is stricken with fear the first time they walk in. That being said if you can just focus on the essentials you'll be fine. You don't need an executive membership and you definitely don't need to walk down every damn isle every time you enter the store. Judging from the peoples carts around me when I'm shopping there not everyone learns so quickly haha
Unless you have a family that can eat all the food, you buy non-perishable things at Costco and perishable foods from Aldi. You'll cut your grocery budget a lot by doing that
I have had my membership for 1 year now and never ever have we left that damn place without spending less than $400. It's very easy to shop at Walmart for $100-120 but never less than 400 at Costco. Won't be renewing the membership next month.
I can live in Costco! They have beds and sheds and pillows and blankets and food!

My ex bought a casket at Costco.
Damm this hits hard, I spend so much there on food and have to rush to eat it all before it goes bad. I never leave there without spending 200
