I own one and I am happy enough that I ordered the driver. I have been playing golf for about 3 1/2 years and am a 12 HC so my swing isn't horrific but, like everyone else, I still have some flaws. This product helped IMMENSLY with two things. 1) My tempo. 2) When to actually put power to the club. Due to the shaft being so flexible, it will hit to the right every time you over swing.
It takes more than 12 swings! It basically magnifies anything you're doing wrong, so the first 10 shots or so are all over the place, then you start to feel the lag. I saw a big improvement after about 50 range balls in my timing, distance, and accuracy.
Glad to hear it helped. Like I said in the video, I think it’s a good tool just like the sklz gold flex or orange whip for tempo and help with kinematic sequencing.
It’d be nice if you featured an actual student that truly needs help and see if results are noticeable with this product. I’ve seen quite a few vids of this product by content providers that have great ability already.
Actually, Lauren struggles with the same thing most recreational golfers do, in to out swing path with an open club face. She started playing golf as an adult so she’s not that different. Like I said in the video, I think the product is worthwhile, I just don’t think anything can be fixed with a handful of swings in a 30 minute practice session. Most of what we need to work on takes a long time to fix.
Interesting video, good coaching! But I'm not totally sure the lag shot cures a steep swing? I have one and it's been amazing for my tempo, definitely helped me strike the ball better, as I've always had a really aggressive transition, which the lag shot won't allow. My club path is mega neutral, like 0.5 degrees in to out average, so no problems with path. Coaching, and a better understanding of the swing is definitely the way to go for somone swinging over the top with an open face, the lag shot will help when she's improved a bit!
The point of the video is to show that it’s a little misleading to say that with 12 swings of the lag shot you will see a difference. There’s a lot of other variables involved. Thanks for watching.
I thought the purpose of the lag shot was for tempo, and creating lag. Right now I have a tempo issue, and tend to lose that tempo. Would the lag shot not help fix that for me?
Hi there, yes it is also great for tempo much like the orange whip or sklz gold flex. But the difference is, you can actually hit a golf ball with it. Thanks for watching!
@@MikeSullivangolf Thank you for your reply. I guess I am still trying to decide if I want this or the orange whip. My concern is that for all of the times I am not hitting the ball it may be better to have the whip. Would lagshot be worth it if I was not hitting balls with it? For example if I used it at home indoors or at the gym while I am working out and stretching? I have only tried the orange whip, and since it comes to about $150 for either of them I just want to make the right choice first. Thank you again.
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of those options. Including a knock off version of the orange whip or gold flex. All of the options available essentially help with the same things. So yes, it would be helpful to swing the lag shot or the orange whip even without a ball.
It’s improved my swing, tempo and speed greatly.. I followed the drills to the T and have seen and felt the improvement. I use the orange whip to warm up and then a couple hits at the driving range with the lag shot before a round of golf. Great warm up

I have owned one for over a year. Has helped me tremendously with tempo and contact. Once I found my tempo ball contact improved 1000%.
Tempo is really important and these types of devices are usually very good at helping train for good tempo. Definitely a good training aid.

Great video, I enjoyed seeing every shot as well. Music was a good touch. I would avoid facing the sun when you are talking to the camera, though :)
Hi Logan, thanks for the feedback. We are always trying to improve the video quality. Sometimes the sun doesn’t cooperate!

@@bartholomewmarionquint3871 Yes, you can swing it anywhere you would swing the orange whip. I'd avoid concrete and pavement, though.
her swing speed might be too slow to fully get the lag.
Ouch! Good burn!
I have the lag club and have used it multiple times. I’m have not see any improvement in my swing😢
I think it really depends on the person. I don't think it's hurting you to use it though. It is also a good warm up tool prior to your round.

Sorry I quit 1/2 through. Too slow developing.
Thank you for your feedback.
Perhaps you should actually watch the training videos…
You really got a bring a negative comment on this? Come on man…..
@@MeanMints5 who? It’s quite obvious that she wasn’t getting it. There are exorcises that help you get it right? Just whacking balls isn’t it.
TH-cam has a speed feature - learn to use it.. I can only imagine how many other issues you have in life that are as easily solved as this one.
12 swings isn't going to be nearly enough for any training aid to make an improvement.
Agreed!
