I don't think if they had put the T-Rex with that same iconic roar in this one, then I would have cheered for Kong... I may have jumped ship there... Haahaa... I think that's why they didn't do it, as Rexy is still loved by many a monster fans... But any imaginable abomination or creature resembling him, is getting viped out (at least that's what the latest Jurassic Park movies have taught us)...
@@mytinynotes2k953 This Vastatosaurus rex is evolved T rex with stronger bite force, tougher skin and bigger size. Means King kong is so strong that he will wipe out all Jurassic park carnivore dinosaurs at once if he uses both his hands.
What makes them invincible is not only their arms, but like all apes they also have their feet that function as an extra pair of hands, and on top of all that, gorillas, despite not being carnivores, are one of the animals with the strongest jaw in the world, they are very well armed from all sides haha.

This is a Masterpiece… aside from the brilliant graphics and on edge fighting scene between worlds biggest creatures did you guys peep Kongs eyes when Naomi went underneath him as he stares down the last T. rex ~ complete submission!! & also his face more so his mouth when he cracks the jaw of the last T Rex look at Kongs face when he does that, freaking hilarious
This is also a great scene showcasing character development of both Ann and Kong. Before Ann was frightened for her life and Kong was an angry brute who was mad Ann wouldn't submit to him. As Kong is protecting her, she eventually moves behind Kong while Kong kills the final vrex. After the battle, not only did Kong save Ann, he also was willing to let her go away from him. In turn she willingly decided to stay with him, showing that she trusts him.

Kong is the King of Skull Island. His roar at @5:29 was to tell the Vastatosaurus Rex to back off. Poor V Rexes are too prey driven to not challenge Kong, even though Kong had killed off the other two.
I always thought this movie's cgi was great for 2005 and not for 2023 anymore but i was totally wrong when i re-watch it. The cgi level of king kong will be still the best for centuries.

I'm very surprised that you're the only comment I've found that points this out. It doesn't make any sense. They're so captivated by the idea of literally less than a single bite of meat to them, that they don't even fight Kong half the time. It's extremely unimmersive.

I love this Kong and the nostalgia watching this clip from one of my favorite movies is awesome. But there’s no way for this or the other Kong to take on a giant crocodile that survived a nuke point blank, became a nuclear meltdown hot enough to melt steel, and fights alien dragon gods. These T-Rex are nothing compared to Godzilla. Our boy Kong just wasn’t made to take on that kind of monster.

How many times we've seen this extremely thrilling fight scene, just wonder how they created it ..... the best fight scene in any movie from any country. Watch it 100 times but the entertainment will be the same. The icing on the cake in this brilliant adventure movie is that the lead lady was so beautiful.
There's actually something about this King Kong that the monster verse Kong didn't have, the sense of Wonder and Adventure and not just building up a new Monster contender against Godzilla
Kong is just very careful when he needs to be, he's lived on this deathtrap of an island all his life, he's probably done something similar like hold fruit he doesn't want to smash while fighting. Also the coordination to simultaneously wrestle three giant theropods and pass Ann between not just his hands but also feet.
They really needed to have that 3 against one to make the fight interesting. On its own, the V-rex really has no suitable defense against Kong. It's easily wrestled to the ground and broken on its own. I can see why in Adam Wingard's film he designed the Skull Devil to be so much more nimble to make killing it seem more challenging and less one sided.
I always hated that one V-Rex the most: the one with the ingrown tooth. He’s the one who dragged Kong into the vines, so he’s the reason the other one got killed as well. AND he’s the one whom Kong actually gave a chance to walk away. But he just had to be a jerk, and for that, he got his tongue ripped out and his jaw split open. And that made me happy. :)
True but the way they showcase the v-rexes as being so damn smart and not just stupid lizzards adapting to their enviorments and quickly learning how physics works makes It look so cool and reasonable as they are more avadvanced than just a normal t-rex

I saw this movie in the theater when it came out and I remember everyone in the theater started laughing followed by clapping after Kong broke the dinosaur's jaw and started opening and closing it haha.
That was a wonderful movie I still remember watching the very first one back in the '80s but this one is super fantastic I really enjoyed it my friend was telling me about it her and her little girl love it ♥️🙂

That was one hell of a fight. The way Kong killed the last V-Rex was epic. When Kong fights with his two hands, he’s simply invincible.
It's a v rex not t rex, its a vastatosaurus a fictional dinosaur on 2005 skull island, very similar to a rex but not a t rex

I like the detail that every time the Rexes snap their jaws it makes a popping sound like a crocodile.
I like how these V-Rexes are actually incredibly smart and formidable, unlike the half blind, slow T-Rexes in Jurassic Park.
They're also incredibly huge, the skull of the adult was at least 8, maybe 10 feet long, it could fit Rexy's entire head in that mouth.

Kong is just very careful when he needs to be, he's lived on this deathtrap of an island all his life, he's probably done something similar like hold fruit he doesn't want to smash while fighting. Also the coordination to simultaneously wrestle three giant theropods and pass Ann between not just his hands but also feet.
They really needed to have that 3 against one to make the fight interesting. On its own, the V-rex really has no suitable defense against Kong. It's easily wrestled to the ground and broken on its own. I can see why in Adam Wingard's film he designed the Skull Devil to be so much more nimble to make killing it seem more challenging and less one sided.

I always hated that one V-Rex the most: the one with the ingrown tooth. He’s the one who dragged Kong into the vines, so he’s the reason the other one got killed as well. AND he’s the one whom Kong actually gave a chance to walk away. But he just had to be a jerk, and for that, he got his tongue ripped out and his jaw split open. And that made me happy. :)
True but the way they showcase the v-rexes as being so damn smart and not just stupid lizzards adapting to their enviorments and quickly learning how physics works makes It look so cool and reasonable as they are more avadvanced than just a normal t-rex

I saw this movie in the theater when it came out and I remember everyone in the theater started laughing followed by clapping after Kong broke the dinosaur's jaw and started opening and closing it haha.
That was a wonderful movie I still remember watching the very first one back in the '80s but this one is super fantastic I really enjoyed it my friend was telling me about it her and her little girl love it ♥️🙂
