It was a fun video to watch. Interesting re Colorado. Since I now need all the help I can get and telecommuting from home is getting tiring, so why not Colorado? Do you know if there’s a minimum time for adaptation gains? Or did you just plan the maximum based on time/budget?
Were it up to me, I'd still be in Colorado. We stayed for the month because I knew the Chicago Triathlon was a month from our initial stay. It definitely took about 1-2 weeks to feel any sort of adaption while running to kick in, but the swimming & biking was almost instantaneous. The most important piece of adaptation was to take your training/ workouts as easy as possible the first week.
