    Jon - The part where you tell everyone to put the nut back on and glance at the camera is fantastic. As I started yanking on the wheel it became very apparent why you did that. Almost four years later this is was a great help. Thanks

    Best part is how you pop off the steering wheel with ease. If you only knew the struggle I have to get mine off. Lol. Takes a bearing separator and 2 jaw gear pulley. Next time it comes off it will be to put one of these on. Thanks for the demo!!

    Get yourself some aftermarket seats. I got the PRP suspension seats, 6" of soft comfort. Compared to this stock seats its the difference between night and day.
    Excellent video, much appreciated.

    Anti theft device ! I’m sure the cam am is hard to steal however taking the wheel would discourage most people from trying. Good Video, thanks for sharing !

    I wonder if the stock wheel on an x3 will fit on a base model OG maverick 🤔

  • @chicago1680
    @chicago1680 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you install a quick release on the stock wheel? I actually like the look and feel of the stocker.

    • @civicb20z
      @civicb20z  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im not so sure about that. Wheel is majority plastic. If i were to go this route i would look for a quick release that i can put inline on the steering shaft

    • @civicb20z
      @civicb20z  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you! It really all came down to the fact I could fit comfortably in it. As far as why I went with the xrs model. I wanted the wider wheel base and the upgraded 3 inche fox shocks in the rear. Bigger guy, bigger shocks lol

    You ever consider the PRP seat lowering bracket? Or do you feel there is enough leg room? 6’3” and 350 myself.

    • @civicb20z
      @civicb20z  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not, but some more leg room would be nice

  • @scorchearth5808
    @scorchearth5808 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I am 5'7" 430 lbs. So is your seat all the way back and steering in the highest position. Because it looked just perect for you but you weigh less but like 6" taller also. Just want to make sure it would work for me

    • @civicb20z
      @civicb20z  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Scorch Earth yes I have the seat all the way back. And I actually lower the steering wheel while driving. If you need a little more (gut room) lower the drivers seat the 2 inches and bring the wheel closer to chest level. Also allowing you to pivot the wheel

    • @scorchearth5808
      @scorchearth5808 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh so lowering the steering wheel gives you more room. Well thats good. I sat in a RZR, General and a regular Maverick and I had to have the sterring wheel in the up position, lowering the steering ended up hitting my belly. I went to the CanAm dealership on 3 different occasions to sit in the X3 and they never have any. They told me its unlikely I ever will because they are sold before they get there. But cant order one just incase it doesnt work. So I guess my question is. Have you sat in all those SXS I mentioned and how was it for you. Also I was told the X3 you need long legs but at 5'7" thats a problem. So are your legs stretch in there or are you finding your legs cramped in there. I am hoping for cramped cause that might be good for me. Thx for quick response and love the videos. Cant wait to hear from your feedback when you go out riding

    • @civicb20z
      @civicb20z  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Scorch Earth I'd be more than happy to get some full video of both me and girlfriend who's 5'6 in the can am. Give me a couple days and I will post a link for you to see. As for sitting in other utv. X3 has the most visually. I did sit in a rzr and it sucked. Your best chance is x3 in my opinion

    • @scorchearth5808
      @scorchearth5808 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Jon, I would really like that. Thx so much. Ya i might have to widen my search to find a X3 where i can sit in. Both those units are hot. Cant find them anywhere.

    • @ericswafford9149
      @ericswafford9149 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also sat in the general and the razr and didn't have much room. I'd say your best bet is the x3 or yxz1000r. They both have a swept back seat position and it allows us room for our gut. I'm 6'2 440

  • @chevytech57

    Hey Hercules, I tried to manhandle the stock steering wheel off. Ended up borrowing a buddy's steering wheel / gear puller.
    You got some bad ass guns there bro.
