Thanks man you save me, I'm in the military and deployed right now my wife been trying to help me with my mining rig but it's kinda overwhelming for her. Glad you give me this information it will help me out big time!!! New Subscriber and I hit the like 👍 👌
I'm glad I could help. If you ever need any help getting things up and running I will always do my best to help. Thank you for everything you do! This channel seems small when you look at the big picture of the world and the work you're doing. My family and I support you and your family for all the sacrifices you and they make to keep us safe. A BIG thumbs up to you and keep fighting the good fight!! If you need any help with the rig just let me know and Ill make it happen!
I was so caught up in recording I didn't notice I had the camera over that section until later in the video when I moved it. lol Glad the video helped. If you need anything, just ask.
@@euclidmining I actually do have another newbie question - I'm currently running Hive with a USB 3.0 stick. My SSD should be here tomorrow. What's the best way to "transfer" over to the SSD in replace of the USB stick? I was thinking 1). Load Hive on the SSD with BalenaEtcher. 2). Then move over the wifi and rig.conf from the files. Is there anything else i'm missing? Thanks!
@@lordhowe65 I would make sure your USB is at current version of Hive before you move any of the files over. But yes it should be that easy. I use a USB for all of my rigs. Cheaper and easier in my opinion.
I'm glad it helped. If you have any questions, just ask. I also just got five RTX3060 LHR and am going to do a build and overclocking video on them. I also got a RTX3060 NON LHR so ill be testing that too!
Hi, i had 3 EVGA 3070 non lhr mining with hive os, i added a 3080 lhr evga to my rig and i started having this error "202111119 21:00:54 ERROR: Cant start Trex, cant initialize CUDA engine, cuda exception: CUDA_ERROR_INVALID_DEVICE. Is NVIDIA driver installed?" can you help me? do you know why this happends?
I would start by putting the 3080 lhr with its own flight sheet and see if you have the same errors. Which miner are you using? Trex, lol miner,...? Trex 24.6 seem to be best right now for lhr unlocking.
Glad I could help! If you need anything just ask. I also just got five RTX3060 LHR and am going to do a build and overclocking video on them. I also got a RTX3060 NON LHR so ill be testing that too!
Hell yeah. What I want to hear in a video trying to learn something..... This is my first time and we're going to learn this together. LMAO. Well, here we go.
You get to lean as I do. No editing mistakes!! I guess I can try it myself and then put on a perfect video. The truth is that mistakes are make and I want to show you the mistakes I make so you don't, but know what they are. Welcome to Euclid Mining!!
Open up your flight sheet and look for the miner software you want to use. NBminer in your case. Just below the name (NBminer) click "configure miner". In the window that opens up look on the bottom left corner of the opened window and you'll see "version". Click the drop down and choose the version you want to use. Hope this helps.
Did you update the hive OS or the drivers? I'd always keep the hive OS up to date and if the drivers that you installed didn't work I would try to roll them back. If the card isn't working in that system I would take the card out and check to see if it's the riser or the connection on the motherboard or the card itself. I try that card directly on the board without a riser and or on another computer to see if it's truly just the card. Let me know when you've tried that and we'll go from there.
@@euclidmining Hi ! thanks for the reply. I update the nvidia driver to the last version. It didn't work, then i rollback to the last stable version, but didn't work, so i change it back to the version that was working ( 460X). and with that it work ok again...
@@martinbeltramo4153 I would check the BIOS version of the card itself. It may be outdated and doesn't like the newer drivers. It also depends on what you're going to be mining with the card. If you're trying to use the unlock settings then you want the older drivers and you might want to use it a different bios on the gpu. Have you tried this card in Windows machine with updated drivers? I'll be curious to see if it's high OS that's giving you the headache or if it's the driver's. I think that's why I like GPU mining so much. I love investigating the problem and troubleshooting until I can figure it out.
I'd start by flashing a new copy of Hive and start there or use a new account on Hive and fresh flash and try that. Let me know. Ill start looking into it more on my end.

If all videos are like this everything would be better so simple so easy
That's that's very nice of you to say. I appreciate you watching.
Thank you for this video it saved me from a headache
Anytime!
I would love to be able to do this but my shell constantly disconnects. Now I have to look for ways of fixing this
I hate to say it but, install a fresh copy. I know it takes a little while to flash the drive but at least you know it's a clean install.
thank you very much for making this detailed video
I appreciate the comment and am glad I could help.
Great video
Glad it helped. :)

my upgrade process stops on Uninstalling the previous installation with /usr/bin/nvidia-uninstall, do you know what it could be?
I had the same error but then I used a clean install of hive and it worked. Start there and let me know if you still get the error.
