Great vid Mocha! Keep them coming man. I'm relatively new to NVGs but, you and Sam have really made it easy to make the right decisions on what to buy.
I almost bought a set of GSCI PVS-31C-MOD NVG recently. However, I found a Black Friday sale on the DTNVS and then came across your overview video which changed my mind. The lightweight modular design of the DTNVS is what I find so appealing. The extra little bells and whistles on the 31 might be nice to have, such as manual gain control, but it adds weight and potential points of failure. I think it's time to finally pull the trigger and order the DTNVS.
I just picked one up, waiting for it to arrive & watching vids of the pro's & con's. WP, Blemish free ELBIT tubes (Yeah not L3 unfiled but I'm happy from the demo pics) I'm moving up from pvs23's so the light weight will definitely be appreciated! I will miss the Adams industries rugged battery packs but will look into that option you mentioned. I passed on the IPS, doubt I need it.

They put the lanyard anchor points in the wrong place. They should have been on the outside of the housing that holds the tube. Point being if you snap a pod off that dainty hinge point you are going to be out a housing and additionally, most likely a Intensifier Tube when it hits the ground and shatters like an egg. NVD BNVD iterations all have their lanyard anchor points in the correct place.
