Awesome thank you! His damage can get really high if you can do both verina and sanhuas outro + sanhua's echo like one after the other before switching to Aalto...huge buffs! But also, without them he can also buff himself, dashing through mist, shooting through the mist, shooting through the mist through the his liberation screen, and also the Feiling Beringal buffs him too! Yes try him out. Fair warning, a lot of people that try him and don't like him usually dint learn how to actually use him, so they stop liking him because they don't know how to use his kit and make combos to deal damage. I highly recommend taking time to figure out his kit. I'll be making a playstyle "how to use him" guide this week. 😁
Great video, I have S6 Aalto and wanna build him but unfortunately he just loses out to Chixia, and they have sort of the same role as a main DPS. One thing I wanna correct in the video though is that his S3 doesn’t double his damage, the 50% is a total increase, each additional bullet deals 25%. Overall though, nice to see some Aalto mains, makes me excited to build him when I have the resources.
ahhh ic damn that description wording 😫 yea understandable, resources are very limited so gotta prioritize the characters you'd wanna use the most. I'd use Chixia but I prefer my Main to be a husbando 😆 Thank you!
You Kind Sir are my favorite type of Content Creator! Skilled and Energetic and having fun with the game beyond running purely meta builds (nothing against that side of thing its just refreshing to see a different take on things once in a while)! I've been hoping to find a CC in the WuWa space that gives me the same vibes as Rintaichou (the Amber Main) does over on the Genshin side of things and so I'm extra happy I've discovered your content because now I get to discover your WuWa AND GI content too! (And while I don't main Venti as I'm not skilled with Bow characters he is the Main of my Heart and Soul where Genshin Characters are concerned so the fact that you love and pain him is just a huge added bonus)

I do miss when Aalto would ult and use finger guns, but he is still a SUPER dope character! Prydwen does his calcs so bad too, its like his Sequences dont actually increase his damage output lol, his sequences are NUTS! I think "maining" a character in this game will over time become the way to go, I imagine end game will be harder and harder bosses (mechanics not hp walls i hope), maybe raid esque co op bosses, and the tournaments we host in the community as well, "maining" a character seems so worth it!
yes I agree in maining a character. Since Wuwa s primarily skill based and plays similar to like fighting game...mastering one unit will be beneficial. For example in street fighter or marvel versus Capcom, now one character is better than the other character...who wins is based on the player's skill and ability to use the character's kit and playstyle. the only sucky thing is for content like the Tower of Adversity requires you make 3 teams. But I think you should still have that 1 main character that receives priority and your main investment. 😆
I haven't tried the JP voices yet.. I kinda really like Aalto's English VA. Haha I was a bit hesitant to put out a guide because I don't normally put out guides. But when i was looking for a dps Aalto guide...I couldn't find one...so I made my own. Thought I'd share 😁
Great video! I got s6 Aalto when pulling for Yinlin and getting copies of Yuanwu. Love the guns in this game but don't know how to make them do damage. This video is great, now I can build him and do rapid fires! bang bang bang! 🤘✌
Yaaass! Unfortunately I didnt get to get a copy of him until many wishes into jiyan's banner. I got Jiyan and mained him for a while. Even after I got Aalto I was using Jiyan...but he got boring.
Off topic. There is one thing I want to say about Sanhua. You can use her E moments before dash from charged attack detonates, this also detonate ice cones from E. But this works just when her ice cones exist (from ult or intro). This is very effective in reducing rotation time and deal little more damage.
@@CVGTigzI'll try again. When you release Heavy attack on Sanhua at right timing - she slash enemy aka Vergil style. But you must have ice cones on field, to blow them for extra damage. You can use skill just before ice cones detonate, and ice cones created by skill also detonate. So, my rotation with Sanhua looks like: intro, 3 basic attack (to activate 15% CR and 20% ice burst bonus), ultimate, heavy attack with skill to intercept slach, echo (Heron) with swap to next character.
Really nice build! I wish i at least had S3 Alto lol i also only have Cadenza as a 4* weapon 🤔 will need more time/resources to properly build him. But he pairs so well with Jianxin that i think he is really worth it
i am also an Aalto main, with 100% critrate build. i shred everything with midair attacks. i dont even need to switch characters, thats why i used the 2 sierra and 2 lingering set instead of 5set sierra set since the latter wont activate.
You're one of the reasons I wanna build Aalto but only once I get 1 more dupe of him to get him to S3, I really wanna see lots of numbers haha. I know you discussed it in the video, but would you still use him if you only had him at S3 since I do see that you are S6.

Energy regen gives concerto energy? Where did you hear that? 🤷🏻♂️ unless you're talking about indirectly giving concerto energy by making you have liberation more often, which in turn gives concerto energy
Haha someone else mentioned that as well. It doesn't. My mistake on wording. 😅😅What I meant was that you want energy recharge so you can get ur liberation burst as fast as possible, because that will give you a big chunk of your concerto energy, so that you can do his all his dmg combos (echo, burst skill jumpshots dash forte gauge missles etc.) and then switch so that when verina jumps in her intro takes a chunk off of the enemies shield. In order for him to defeat high level holograms, you would need to get through the rotations quickly, to deplete the shield. If that makes sense...cuz like in my head it does but I might not be explaining it right. 😅😅
my alto is r6 too, but I already build my team, and all my sealed tube already used in this team, after I see this video, I think I will build my alto next🤣
@@CVGTigz yes🤣 only echo and weapon that need to consider, echo is more easy because we can use it in another char, but weapon is a bit hassle, because until now gun user is only chixia and aalto🤣

Is there a particular reason you use Sanhua as a sub dps? I just got started and pulled Aalto and love love him so I really want to build around him. Any suggestions for other sub dps that can be used?
Sanhua's outro increases the next character's Basic Attack DMG Deepen by 38% for 14s...perfect for Aalto since his primary source of damage is his basic attack. Also, tried doing research to confirm...all of the combat guides online refer to his mid-air jump attacks as mid-air basic attacks...so I am assuming this buff applies to his mid-air attacks as well. Sanhua also is able to wear the Moonlit Clouds echo set, which has Impermanence Heron which also buffs the next character's damage. You would be going, Verina, then Sanhua, then Aalto. Verina's buff from her inherent skill lasts for 20 seconds and her Outro buffs Attk Dmg for 30 seconds. If you can do sanhua's echo and outro fast enough, Aalto will receive all those buffs.
What do you think about a synergy with Jianxin instead of Verina? She boosts his liberation damages and gives him a shield and heals him He boosts her aero damages
to be honest I don't really like his liberation...it does deal damage once cast but it isn't much...it also provides a small attack buff but not very noticeable. Also, a lot of characters either move towards you past the screen or somewhere completely different so you cannot shoot through the screen to hit him. Since a majority of the time Aalto shoots with his basic attacks, Sanhua seemed to be a better fit. Plus, with sanhua being able to use Impermanence Heron, it's another dmg buff for Aalto. However, this is also being said by me, who hasn't really used Jianxin. 😅 You should def try and let me know how it goes...I have like 0 resources. Also, if you don't have verina or Sanhua...then she would be the next option in terms of healer/support.
@@CVGTigz OK thank you for your answer. i have Verina Jianxin et Sanhua; Another good point for Jianxin si her shield which provides an interruption resistance for aalto who is squeechy; Jianxin deals 38% bonus for Aalto's liberation skill but you say that this skill isn't significant
@@jeanfalin4077 oh the inturruption reduction would be really helpful while he's shooting in the air. Yea the damage boost for the liberation is not that great ....it does raise attack a bit...but the heavy attack through it is pointless. It does deal a good amount of damage when it's cast tho.
I haven't leveled taoqi so I'm not sure about her, but a lot of people have mentioned Jianxin. I have her at R1 and haven't played her much...i think mostly it comes down to preference in playstyle. I like that sanhua slows down time and can use impermanence heron echo for additional damage buff for aalto.

a fellow aalto main T-T I was planning to go Crt.DMG main for 4 cost and test my luck on the sub stats on other gear but might have to try out a Crt.Rate. Thanks for the info.
Same...the only Crit Dmg 4 cost piece i had didnt roll much crit rate...I ended up with 50% crit rate and 260ish crit damage...I tried using it...but I noticed although i had bigger crits...it didnt crit as much so sometimes it would take longer to kill things.
@@CVGTigz the best places I know to get them are souvenir shop, pioneer association and leveling up cooking. There's one gold dish that gives 22% Crt.Rate which is so dang good and easy to make.
@@lokeykim1781 yea i havent been cooking much. I dont even use revive food or healing food. Lol I make it so much harder for myself when I should just do some cooking lol.

My alto stats are better than yours yet my damage is half of what your are doing. Lv. 70 Atk: 1948 Ctit rate: 84% Crit damage: 214% While combat Damage:700 😢 Please tell me what I am doing wrong
It could be several factors. How many constellations do you have? Also, echoes can make a big difference as well as your teammates/supports. Having a "better build" doesn't always mean better damage. If you utilize his kit and proper rotations to buff him as a carry dps, then he can output a LOT of damage. I have a c6 but I have seen some Aaltos deal lots of damage at C0 with cracked out stats and utilize his kit and buffs from a lot of sources. For me, I utilize verina's buffs, Sanhua's buffs, Sanhua's echo (Impermanence Heron) for added buff, aalto's 4 cost monkey for aero dmg buff, tons of jump shots. Also, one of my constellations I forget which one, buffs aero damage when passing through a mist for a short while.
I didn't know his S3 would be that powerful. I have S4 of him but Im busy building may Encore team and Havoc team. Maybe Im going to build him with Jianxin soon.
yea once you get his main damage numbers higher, the extra bullets from the s3 gives him a big damage boost! I really want Encore but I dont have her yet 😭😭

YAAAY CONGRATS! his s3 is his best sequence node imo! I've also heard yinlin pairs really well with him as a support. I normally use Sanhua and Verina...but I have an S1 Yinlin trying to S6 Aalto...so I"m like...I might as well try it. 😆
@@CVGTigz haha yeh, i guess it depends! if you wanna see specifically aalto having higher numbers, sanhuas outro is the way to go, if you want overall more team dmg, then yinlin will be the family's provider =D
@firby7341 I think for some content it is necessary to get overall damage and not completely rely on Aalto...especially on enemies with Aero resistance. So yea, Yinlin is not a bad idea. Do you build her for damage?
Yea I totally agree. Kuro did him so dirty. Why give him this awesome kit but make such small multipliers?? I heard they do balance patches so hopefully Aaltos damage can get higher. I think too maybe a new echo or weapon could also change that. I see now that there's so many people that love him and think his playstyle looks hella cool. I think though people think it's sucky damage, but like, with his c3 and jump shooting, a bunch if small numbers hitting fast can be about the same as larger numbers not hitting quite as fast.
Guys, It's me or all 4 stars are secretly 5 stars once at S6?! Mortifi, Aalto, Xi and the uncle Are litterraly 5 stars once mastered and properly build. Even the the female pink tank 4* has a good shield.
@@blueberry7478 The creators of the game said that since it is a skill based game, you can pretty much main anyone as long as you build them right and know how to utilize their kit...plus being able to dodge and parry is a must 😆
I really like his appearance in the story, he's fun and I want to build him too, but as support of Yangyang in an Aero team because he has a nice outro buff. I hope they have good sinergy 🌬️💨🍃
I just pull Yinlin seeking 2 more Aaltos hahaha love the boy he is the character with the most unique personality in the game. I'm a student on the information security field so this is a plus!
The only gripe I have with Aalto is his inherent skill. Did I read that correctly? A free crit on heavy attack every 30 seconds? That sounds next to worthless.
COMPLETELY USELESS. The creators of the game really screwed him over with stuff like that and his Sequence nodes...like, did they even bother playing the character when coming up with that stuff? NO ONE uses heavy attack on Gun users. Maybe in the future they might add something to make charge shots viable...like maybe an echo or something.
I am also an Aalto main and also a mortefi main, I didn’t know how much I would love pistol units so much Rn my mortefi is finished with the static mist and I’m waiting for a pistol 5 star characters weapon to get to Aalto
At first I didn't have Aalto so I was trying to build mortefi...the moment I got Aalto I used Mortefi as a support for Aalto...I had no idea Sanhua would be better. Yesss I can't wait for a 5 star gun user...depending on who it is I might just use their weapon for Aalto also 😆
I'm a gun user main all the way. I have jiyan S1 and his weapon and Yinlin c1 and almost all of the 4 stars at s6..but Aalto's playstyle is just so different and fun...plus his personality. I know Jinshi is going yo be OP because like, she's the Magistrate, but I'll have to see what she's like when she comes out before I decide to pull on her. Im thinning of saving for the next 5star gun user.

Hey guys! I didn't really go over playstyle and how to USE his kit and his rotations so I'll be posting a video on how to use him soon! Also, some people brought up energy regen and how it DOESNT affect Concerto energy and they are completely right! What I should of said is that you you would benefit from energy regen because using his Liberation would give you a big chunk of concerto energy which would then make him be able to switch so that the next character can break the enemies shield faster. Also that way you can do his full combo when he comes in - his intro, Echo, liberation, skill, air jump through mist, dash through mist using up all of his forte, then outro... If that makes sense 😅 Haha it makes sense in my head but I might not be explaining it right. Lol sowwiee! But that's why I'll be uploading a playstyle guide and how to use him and his rotations/combos. 😆
awesome! The echoes are a pain, I spent a whole week trying to get some good echoes with good rolls. It'll take a while, but it'll be worth it! Lots of luck to you and your echo farming!

I'm actually in the process of making a playstayle video for Aalto. But to answer your question...for Aalto alone, the optimal damage combo is to start with Aalto's echo, then his liberation, then his skill, mid air shot through the mist as much as possible, then dash through the mist to release his forte circuit mist bullets. if you don't have a mist after your midair shots....do his basic attack to make a mist and then dash through it.. Hopefully by then your skill will be up to finish with another skill. For my rotation, I do Verina, then Sanhua for Echo + outro, then Aalto with the combo I just mentioned. If you don't have his echo or liberation available...I usually start with skill, jump shoot through it as much as possible, then normal attack and shoot through it till forte is full, then skill and dash through...releasing 6 mist bullets.
Henlo :3 Its a very well thought out build indeed, issue at least for the few weeks since launch, getting Aero and Thunder dmg main stat is hard on 3* echoes and hope we get more in the future, even if the next patch addresses it, I feel there are more things to come. Cant wait to play Aalto this week once I fully built cuz he super is underrated along with Yuanwu, which I am thinking building them both to save on resources. If anything both Aalto and Chixia are the most fun and probably cheesable gun units to play for fun and the least gun user anyone to main is Mortefi, only because he give outro skill buff on heavy attacks and his RL ult to fire wisp shots off field. I want future gun users to be viable, issue is people shoo away gun users cuz they dont parry, which they dont and idm that at all. If people are gonna complain though I hope it gets addressed cuz rumor has it we will be getting a new 5* gun user soon, but I'll hold my breath. However I wanna wish see it changed in the near future is separate the aim sights from the hold on attack and let it be specifically only use on the toggle one, that would be probably nice to give every gun user a chance for everyone, plus it doesnt make it op at all, just give an extra heavy attack animation that deals big damage, kinda like Chixia's intro skill.
yea it's unfortunate gun users cant parry...is why i try to use sanhua to parry or if aalto's concerto is full i do his outro to intro either sanhua or verina to parry. I think Gun users are in a weird place right now but i'm hoping that with future characters, echoes, and weapons...gun users will shine brighter and will be more appreciated.
when you're talking about the weapons you mentioned the energy regen from static mist making it easier to generate your outro which isn't exactly true energy regen does not affect the speed at which concerto energy is gained it only affects the resonance energy gain for your ult which would still make generating your outro easier but i couldn't be sure whether you meant that or you misunderstood how energy regen affects your characters.
haha i didnt quite explain it right. I was meaning is that it would allow you to use you ult faster which would fill your concerto gauge faster which would allow you to intro outro more often to deplete the shield faster. Lol. Using a weapon that does increase concerto energy often has lower attack value...so unfortunately the damage would be too little for him to be a good main dps, which is why I said the Cadenza is good if you want to run him as support. 😅😅
oops oh crap I recorded the cadenza part but forgot in edited it out because I started talking about building him as support and figured it wasn't necessary since this is a main dps build 😅😅😅

Very true. Love that it's a skill based game. Reminds me of Marvel Vs Capcom and other fighting games. Not one character is overpowered than another...it's how skilled you are at using them. (exept for the people that cheese with Sentinel or IronMan...😡)
Hey fellow aalto main, I have similar stats as you but I've been considering using full atk set as aalto can make more use of it. granted that its just a 12% atk dmg boost, the fact that u dont need to stay in the animation may prove to be better for aalto
someone else had asked me that too but unfortunately i dont have enough of the attack set to try it out. They also said to try 2pc sierra and 2pc the attack one...i dunno even what it's called lol. The Red one 😆
Yesss! you can make anyone great...most people that say other characters suck just didnt take the time to use them or build them, or it just wasnt their playstyle. What works for one person doesnt work for everyone. But yea, if you are having fun using her then i'm sure you're gonna build her to be amazing!

In honesty since wuwa isn't a mmorpg or have leader boards, meta doesn't really matter. What matters is if that character's play style matches you or you like them overall. I'm running a full husbando team. This really forces me to dodge and parry counter as much as possible. All those souls-like games I've been playing, are finally being put to good use.
Exactly! I had a husbando team too! I was running Jiyan Aalto and Mortefi. But once I got to the harder stuff I was like oh crap I need a healer or something. Perhaps I just gotta get better at dodging and parrying 😅. Haha my Elden Ring days definitely paid off for sure! Kudos! I love another Husbando main 😆

@luffyyyTaroo I did at S0 for a long time during Jiyans banner before I was able to wish on Yinlin's banner. 😁 Just gotta make sure you have good echoes and have your supports built properly as well. You'll most likely get to at least S3 eventually since he's a standard 4 star. I got him randomly on Jiyans banner...so you might get him again soon too.😁

Entertaining video. I enjoy seeing different characters being utilized and showcased. A tiny nitpick at 1:42, energy regen helps with resonance liberation (Ultimate) not concerto energy.

Concerto Energy, Resonance Energy, Resonance Skills, resonance liberation, Resonance chain etc. Lol I also figured that the faster you get your burst the more Concerto energy you get because when you cast your skills it fills the bar and then you can't your burst it hella fills the Concerto thing. 😅
Aww I'm sure you'll get him eventually, especially since there aren't really that many characters in the game. I actually got my first copy randomly while wishing for Jiyan. I hope you get him too!

Yes try him out. Fair warning, a lot of people that try him and don't like him usually dint learn how to actually use him, so they stop liking him because they don't know how to use his kit and make combos to deal damage. I highly recommend taking time to figure out his kit. I'll be making a playstyle "how to use him" guide this week. 😁
Great video, I have S6 Aalto and wanna build him but unfortunately he just loses out to Chixia, and they have sort of the same role as a main DPS. One thing I wanna correct in the video though is that his S3 doesn’t double his damage, the 50% is a total increase, each additional bullet deals 25%. Overall though, nice to see some Aalto mains, makes me excited to build him when I have the resources.

I do miss when Aalto would ult and use finger guns, but he is still a SUPER dope character! Prydwen does his calcs so bad too, its like his Sequences dont actually increase his damage output lol, his sequences are NUTS!
I think "maining" a character in this game will over time become the way to go, I imagine end game will be harder and harder bosses (mechanics not hp walls i hope), maybe raid esque co op bosses, and the tournaments we host in the community as well, "maining" a character seems so worth it!
yes I agree in maining a character. Since Wuwa s primarily skill based and plays similar to like fighting game...mastering one unit will be beneficial. For example in street fighter or marvel versus Capcom, now one character is better than the other character...who wins is based on the player's skill and ability to use the character's kit and playstyle. the only sucky thing is for content like the Tower of Adversity requires you make 3 teams. But I think you should still have that 1 main character that receives priority and your main investment. 😆

Off topic. There is one thing I want to say about Sanhua. You can use her E moments before dash from charged attack detonates, this also detonate ice cones from E. But this works just when her ice cones exist (from ult or intro). This is very effective in reducing rotation time and deal little more damage.

@@CVGTigzI'll try again. When you release Heavy attack on Sanhua at right timing - she slash enemy aka Vergil style. But you must have ice cones on field, to blow them for extra damage. You can use skill just before ice cones detonate, and ice cones created by skill also detonate.
So, my rotation with Sanhua looks like: intro, 3 basic attack (to activate 15% CR and 20% ice burst bonus), ultimate, heavy attack with skill to intercept slach, echo (Heron) with swap to next character.

i am also an Aalto main, with 100% critrate build. i shred everything with midair attacks. i dont even need to switch characters, thats why i used the 2 sierra and 2 lingering set instead of 5set sierra set since the latter wont activate.

Haha someone else mentioned that as well. It doesn't. My mistake on wording. 😅😅What I meant was that you want energy recharge so you can get ur liberation burst as fast as possible, because that will give you a big chunk of your concerto energy, so that you can do his all his dmg combos (echo, burst skill jumpshots dash forte gauge missles etc.) and then switch so that when verina jumps in her intro takes a chunk off of the enemies shield. In order for him to defeat high level holograms, you would need to get through the rotations quickly, to deplete the shield. If that makes sense...cuz like in my head it does but I might not be explaining it right. 😅😅

Is there a particular reason you use Sanhua as a sub dps?
I just got started and pulled Aalto and love love him so I really want to build around him. Any suggestions for other sub dps that can be used?
Sanhua's outro increases the next character's Basic Attack DMG Deepen by 38% for 14s...perfect for Aalto since his primary source of damage is his basic attack. Also, tried doing research to confirm...all of the combat guides online refer to his mid-air jump attacks as mid-air basic attacks...so I am assuming this buff applies to his mid-air attacks as well. Sanhua also is able to wear the Moonlit Clouds echo set, which has Impermanence Heron which also buffs the next character's damage. You would be going, Verina, then Sanhua, then Aalto. Verina's buff from her inherent skill lasts for 20 seconds and her Outro buffs Attk Dmg for 30 seconds. If you can do sanhua's echo and outro fast enough, Aalto will receive all those buffs.

What do you think about a synergy with Jianxin instead of Verina?
She boosts his liberation damages and gives him a shield and heals him
He boosts her aero damages
to be honest I don't really like his liberation...it does deal damage once cast but it isn't much...it also provides a small attack buff but not very noticeable. Also, a lot of characters either move towards you past the screen or somewhere completely different so you cannot shoot through the screen to hit him. Since a majority of the time Aalto shoots with his basic attacks, Sanhua seemed to be a better fit. Plus, with sanhua being able to use Impermanence Heron, it's another dmg buff for Aalto. However, this is also being said by me, who hasn't really used Jianxin. 😅 You should def try and let me know how it goes...I have like 0 resources. Also, if you don't have verina or Sanhua...then she would be the next option in terms of healer/support.

@@jeanfalin4077 oh the inturruption reduction would be really helpful while he's shooting in the air. Yea the damage boost for the liberation is not that great ....it does raise attack a bit...but the heavy attack through it is pointless. It does deal a good amount of damage when it's cast tho.
what are your thoughts on swapping sanhua for taoqi or jianxin
I haven't leveled taoqi so I'm not sure about her, but a lot of people have mentioned Jianxin. I have her at R1 and haven't played her much...i think mostly it comes down to preference in playstyle. I like that sanhua slows down time and can use impermanence heron echo for additional damage buff for aalto.

sub dps is fine because you can always give him jiyans echoes if you wanna make him dps. Once they add controller support it might be better

a fellow aalto main T-T I was planning to go Crt.DMG main for 4 cost and test my luck on the sub stats on other gear but might have to try out a Crt.Rate. Thanks for the info.
Same...the only Crit Dmg 4 cost piece i had didnt roll much crit rate...I ended up with 50% crit rate and 260ish crit damage...I tried using it...but I noticed although i had bigger crits...it didnt crit as much so sometimes it would take longer to kill things.
@@CVGTigz ahhh that's fair that's fair so probs do crt.dmg only if you have like 70+ Crt.Rate. Im sure food would help with the missing Crit.Rate tho.

@@CVGTigz the best places I know to get them are souvenir shop, pioneer association and leveling up cooking. There's one gold dish that gives 22% Crt.Rate which is so dang good and easy to make.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong
It could be several factors. How many constellations do you have? Also, echoes can make a big difference as well as your teammates/supports. Having a "better build" doesn't always mean better damage. If you utilize his kit and proper rotations to buff him as a carry dps, then he can output a LOT of damage. I have a c6 but I have seen some Aaltos deal lots of damage at C0 with cracked out stats and utilize his kit and buffs from a lot of sources. For me, I utilize verina's buffs, Sanhua's buffs, Sanhua's echo (Impermanence Heron) for added buff, aalto's 4 cost monkey for aero dmg buff, tons of jump shots. Also, one of my constellations I forget which one, buffs aero damage when passing through a mist for a short while.

yea once you get his main damage numbers higher, the extra bullets from the s3 gives him a big damage boost! I really want Encore but I dont have her yet 😭😭

YAAAY CONGRATS! his s3 is his best sequence node imo! I've also heard yinlin pairs really well with him as a support. I normally use Sanhua and Verina...but I have an S1 Yinlin trying to S6 Aalto...so I"m like...I might as well try it. 😆

@firby7341 I think for some content it is necessary to get overall damage and not completely rely on Aalto...especially on enemies with Aero resistance. So yea, Yinlin is not a bad idea. Do you build her for damage?

Yea I totally agree. Kuro did him so dirty. Why give him this awesome kit but make such small multipliers?? I heard they do balance patches so hopefully Aaltos damage can get higher. I think too maybe a new echo or weapon could also change that.
I see now that there's so many people that love him and think his playstyle looks hella cool. I think though people think it's sucky damage, but like, with his c3 and jump shooting, a bunch if small numbers hitting fast can be about the same as larger numbers not hitting quite as fast.
Guys, It's me or all 4 stars are secretly 5 stars once at S6?! Mortifi, Aalto, Xi and the uncle Are litterraly 5 stars once mastered and properly build. Even the the female pink tank 4* has a good shield.
@@blueberry7478 The creators of the game said that since it is a skill based game, you can pretty much main anyone as long as you build them right and know how to utilize their kit...plus being able to dodge and parry is a must 😆

The only gripe I have with Aalto is his inherent skill. Did I read that correctly? A free crit on heavy attack every 30 seconds? That sounds next to worthless.
COMPLETELY USELESS. The creators of the game really screwed him over with stuff like that and his Sequence nodes...like, did they even bother playing the character when coming up with that stuff? NO ONE uses heavy attack on Gun users. Maybe in the future they might add something to make charge shots viable...like maybe an echo or something.

I'm a gun user main all the way. I have jiyan S1 and his weapon and Yinlin c1 and almost all of the 4 stars at s6..but Aalto's playstyle is just so different and fun...plus his personality. I know Jinshi is going yo be OP because like, she's the Magistrate, but I'll have to see what she's like when she comes out before I decide to pull on her. Im thinning of saving for the next 5star gun user.
I use Aalto with Jiyan. Although his outro buff is worse than Mortefi I like his playstyle and design more.
Are u using Aalto as a support/sub dps for jiyan? Aalto is great with Jiyan since he buffs aero damage.

Hey guys! I didn't really go over playstyle and how to USE his kit and his rotations so I'll be posting a video on how to use him soon!
Also, some people brought up energy regen and how it DOESNT affect Concerto energy and they are completely right! What I should of said is that you you would benefit from energy regen because using his Liberation would give you a big chunk of concerto energy which would then make him be able to switch so that the next character can break the enemies shield faster. Also that way you can do his full combo when he comes in - his intro, Echo, liberation, skill, air jump through mist, dash through mist using up all of his forte, then outro... If that makes sense 😅 Haha it makes sense in my head but I might not be explaining it right. Lol sowwiee! But that's why I'll be uploading a playstyle guide and how to use him and his rotations/combos. 😆

I'm actually in the process of making a playstayle video for Aalto. But to answer your question...for Aalto alone, the optimal damage combo is to start with Aalto's echo, then his liberation, then his skill, mid air shot through the mist as much as possible, then dash through the mist to release his forte circuit mist bullets. if you don't have a mist after your midair shots....do his basic attack to make a mist and then dash through it.. Hopefully by then your skill will be up to finish with another skill. For my rotation, I do Verina, then Sanhua for Echo + outro, then Aalto with the combo I just mentioned. If you don't have his echo or liberation available...I usually start with skill, jump shoot through it as much as possible, then normal attack and shoot through it till forte is full, then skill and dash through...releasing 6 mist bullets.

Henlo :3 Its a very well thought out build indeed, issue at least for the few weeks since launch, getting Aero and Thunder dmg main stat is hard on 3* echoes and hope we get more in the future, even if the next patch addresses it, I feel there are more things to come. Cant wait to play Aalto this week once I fully built cuz he super is underrated along with Yuanwu, which I am thinking building them both to save on resources. If anything both Aalto and Chixia are the most fun and probably cheesable gun units to play for fun and the least gun user anyone to main is Mortefi, only because he give outro skill buff on heavy attacks and his RL ult to fire wisp shots off field. I want future gun users to be viable, issue is people shoo away gun users cuz they dont parry, which they dont and idm that at all. If people are gonna complain though I hope it gets addressed cuz rumor has it we will be getting a new 5* gun user soon, but I'll hold my breath.
However I wanna wish see it changed in the near future is separate the aim sights from the hold on attack and let it be specifically only use on the toggle one, that would be probably nice to give every gun user a chance for everyone, plus it doesnt make it op at all, just give an extra heavy attack animation that deals big damage, kinda like Chixia's intro skill.
yea it's unfortunate gun users cant parry...is why i try to use sanhua to parry or if aalto's concerto is full i do his outro to intro either sanhua or verina to parry. I think Gun users are in a weird place right now but i'm hoping that with future characters, echoes, and weapons...gun users will shine brighter and will be more appreciated.
when you're talking about the weapons you mentioned the energy regen from static mist making it easier to generate your outro which isn't exactly true energy regen does not affect the speed at which concerto energy is gained it only affects the resonance energy gain for your ult which would still make generating your outro easier but i couldn't be sure whether you meant that or you misunderstood how energy regen affects your characters.
haha i didnt quite explain it right. I was meaning is that it would allow you to use you ult faster which would fill your concerto gauge faster which would allow you to intro outro more often to deplete the shield faster. Lol. Using a weapon that does increase concerto energy often has lower attack value...so unfortunately the damage would be too little for him to be a good main dps, which is why I said the Cadenza is good if you want to run him as support. 😅😅
oops oh crap I recorded the cadenza part but forgot in edited it out because I started talking about building him as support and figured it wasn't necessary since this is a main dps build 😅😅😅

Very true. Love that it's a skill based game. Reminds me of Marvel Vs Capcom and other fighting games. Not one character is overpowered than another...it's how skilled you are at using them. (exept for the people that cheese with Sentinel or IronMan...😡)
Hey fellow aalto main, I have similar stats as you but I've been considering using full atk set as aalto can make more use of it. granted that its just a 12% atk dmg boost, the fact that u dont need to stay in the animation may prove to be better for aalto
someone else had asked me that too but unfortunately i dont have enough of the attack set to try it out. They also said to try 2pc sierra and 2pc the attack one...i dunno even what it's called lol. The Red one 😆

Yesss! you can make anyone great...most people that say other characters suck just didnt take the time to use them or build them, or it just wasnt their playstyle. What works for one person doesnt work for everyone. But yea, if you are having fun using her then i'm sure you're gonna build her to be amazing!

In honesty since wuwa isn't a mmorpg or have leader boards, meta doesn't really matter. What matters is if that character's play style matches you or you like them overall. I'm running a full husbando team. This really forces me to dodge and parry counter as much as possible. All those souls-like games I've been playing, are finally being put to good use.
Exactly! I had a husbando team too! I was running Jiyan Aalto and Mortefi. But once I got to the harder stuff I was like oh crap I need a healer or something. Perhaps I just gotta get better at dodging and parrying 😅. Haha my Elden Ring days definitely paid off for sure! Kudos! I love another Husbando main 😆

@luffyyyTaroo I did at S0 for a long time during Jiyans banner before I was able to wish on Yinlin's banner. 😁 Just gotta make sure you have good echoes and have your supports built properly as well. You'll most likely get to at least S3 eventually since he's a standard 4 star. I got him randomly on Jiyans banner...so you might get him again soon too.😁

Entertaining video. I enjoy seeing different characters being utilized and showcased. A tiny nitpick at 1:42, energy regen helps with resonance liberation (Ultimate) not concerto energy.
Thank you! Ahhh ic, the energy stuff is confusing. So many terms that are so similar. Concerto Energy, Resonance Energy, Resonance Skills, resonance liberation, Resonance chain etc. Lol I also figured that the faster you get your burst the more Concerto energy you get because when you cast your skills it fills the bar and then you can't your burst it hella fills the Concerto thing. 😅
