My suggestion 👉👉best time to choose the UPSC optional subject is at the beginning of your preparation. During the first three months of your UPSC preparation, complete your optional subject and keep it aside….
Deciding optional subject in UPSC for your mains examination is a very important and life changing tast seeing the importance the optional plays in the total score. To choose your optional you should most importantly have an inclination towards that subject…..Since you have to put all your time and efforts into this one subject you have to be sure that you are able to understand the concepts and themes of the subject so that you can study for it…..It's better to take such subjects as optional which you have an idea about or you have read intensively so that it's not new to you……Do an exhaustive research on your sources and refer to question papers and standard subject specific materials by different institutes such as KSG, Vajiram or vision…..They will also help you enhance the focus of your preparation and will help you gain self confidence in this long journey of the examination……
NCERT mathram poraa but njan ncert anu follow cheyyanee but class notes kude und so,As far as all the NCERT’S are concerned they are the basic books which one must have to read for the preparation of upsc….If you will skip them, then you won't be able to understand the basic concepts. NCERT’S help to get the basic knowledge of the topics in detail and further helps in solving difficult questions in upsc prelims. …And i think skipping NCERT’S would lead to consume more time reading authorized books, because there are alot of terms that are directly mentioned in authorized books without any detail explanation, for that you have to compulsory refer to basic books. So i would suggest you to read them or atleast go through the notes that are prepared by some of the Aspirants. But one thin what u studying ennathalla….syllabus focus cheyyuka ennathanu main 🙌
