Informative and helpful video, learnt many things from this video, I did one lesson today with Sharif ,and he is a very experienced and knowledgeable driving instructor. He gives you good advice on your mistakes and ways to improve yourself.
This video was very helpful for passing my test in the second attempt. In the first attempt failed for left blind spot head check failure on wide road and turning left.
Thank you Mr. Sharif for the important lesson with you also your videos on youtube. Alhamdulillah,I passed my driving test today at my first go 😊 It’s very helpful, wish all the best for rdt121, cheers 😊🙏
2:30 I stopped at exactly the same spot (top right view, the pole is still left of the badly placed sign) and they said I failed because I went past the white line a little bit. Everything else was perfectly done. So I recommend to stop further back.
I failed at this spot as well. I am very conscious where the line is and believe I came to a complete stop behind it, but the tester still failed me for touching the line. This was the only mistake on the whole test.. frustrating :(
Really informative video, this was really helpful just one question I have is what about a 3 point turn this was not mentioned in the video however great stuff thank you💯
Thanks RDT121 and Hunson for the video. Did you pass your driving test in Bankstown at first attempt? My test is coming up and I really nervous about it.
@@jonestlo6106 Yes I did, my biggest tip that I can give you is talk to the driving instructor like they are your friend and don’t be afraid to double check and confirm information with them. You’ll be very nervous but you got this 💪, Good Luck and I hope you pass Jonest!!! 🤝🤝🤝
Mock trial test are just a good idea to test these car drivers off the road these car drivers who have a poor driving skills if I had My I would be a nesun police should then make to do some sort of test
you need to have your indicator on at least for 5 seconds before pulling out, it doesn't matter if you are counting it or not, as long as it is okay in timewise.
if you notice carefully, Hunson was actually backing in to the kerb while the front car was approaching, this is basically the second stage of the reverse parking where the car doesn't get out more to the right but getting in to the kerb, in this stage you really don't need to wait for the front car, rather keep backing up to the kerb , and make free space to the front vehicle. so it's okay to concentrate more to the back and sides at this stage ...
I would wounder if he would put on a good show for The driving examination and then Go back to the old ways of going fast and running Red and Amber lights
It may marked down as a Fail, because you are supposed to stop if it is safe to do so at a yellow light, you can only pass through if a sudden stop may cause a dangerous situation and that should be done in a normal tone of driving and not trying to run through quickly in an amber light.
Hi I have 3 little questions: in the test ~ 1- is it ok to block gear 4-2,5-3 ? 2- is it ok to keep on gear ( say 3 or 4), then clutch down - break- put on gear 1, when stop at red light? 3-red light, when very close to stop ( say 5-10m), can I put on neutral, then break to stop then waiting for green light? Thanks a lot
You are asking about Manual driving which I'm not very used to of teaching! let me just answer it from my own manual driving experience. AND Please Disregard me If I'm incorrect in my answer. so far i understand, whenever change your Gear, please do it in the chronological order. when stopped use Neutral Gear at red light, if you cant stop safely, consider to keep going. I don't think using the neutral gear is a good idea to stop quickly. sorry, that's all i can answer now from my little experience of manual driving.
Hi, thanks for posting this, good help for my test upcoming. I’m wondering if we are required to indicate right, headcheck then indicate back left when going around or past parked cars? And what is the best road position in a narrow road with lots of parked cars? Do you just stay in the middle, or do you try and stay to the left by drifting in and out between the gaps between the parked cars? Thanks!!
Hi Narla If you are going around a car which is double parked, you need to use the oncoming side of the road, in that case yes, you must do both indicators & Headachecks before & after! Any time you move one car width sideways or go over a line for unavoidable situations you must give indicators & do headachecks. In a narrow roads if only one direction car can go through, just go through the middle, in response to opposite cars coming move to the left to make room. If needed put indicators & headacheck to pull out to continue, but don’t go zig Zag between the parked cars. I hope it helps!
@@rdt1216 thank you so much for this! Very helpful!! Do you need to headcheck, indicate on a narrow street passing single parked cars and then your right tyres just touch or go over the marked centre broken line a little to pass the parked car? I’m not able to give 1m distance to the parked car cos the street is narrow, but my car can just fit within the lines, sometimes it may go over the line a bit…. Not sure what is best approach here as I heard you can cross lines if avoiding hazard? Thanks!
firstly you need to reduce your speed to the slowest motion possible to turn the corner or go pass the car keeping your car as close as possible to the centre line. if it is unavoidable to untouched the line, in this unusual situation you will get exempted. If you have tried your best but couldn't escape touching the line after taking full precautionary measurements then its okay, but if you willingly go over the line it may cause a Fail.
You can see the route in this video anyway, what do you feel about it? Examiner are of different attitudes, not all are same, few bad experiences should not held guilty everyone or the whole place. From my experience, what I have seen is whoever pass from one place he/she recommends that place. on the other hand if one fails from a place & pass in a different centre, than he/she hates that centre of failure!
It’s true I went for my test and got high marks enough to pass but the lady lied saying j didn’t check as I was reversing to park even tho we literally locked eyes and she saw me look at her so I failed my test because of this don’t go to banks town of you want to do your ps test literally rigged and a waste of time ..
Are left blind spot head checks only required when there’s a bike lane or car space gap ? What would happen if you check every left turn would that take points away for unnecessary checks or would it be fine, thanks.
Yer, you are right, as you said - "head checks only required when there’s a bike lane or car space gap" other than that, you could do the extra head checks at your own choice but its not recommended, as doing so may cause distraction, lose focus and lead to a danger. Rather check rear and side mirrors as you approaching to the intersection,, its safer and provides you a better picture what to expect when arriving at the intersection. if you are expert enough and don't get distracted by doing extra checks then its your choice of doing it.
Not really Jonathan, let me prove it to you. see the SUV, it's over the first line, and if you notice , our Hero -Hunson has stopped kind of rear end of the SUV, you can easily find it on the left top camera. if Hunson would stop his side mirror next to the SUV's side Mirror then, i would agree with you, but now its quite clear he didn't stopped over the line.
He doesn't always indicate early enough, and lets the steering wheel slip in his hands which is a no no as it means you have less control of the vehicle. So good so far otherwise
1) Are we required to do head check while crossing every intersection even if we don't have STOP or Give Way sign? 2) Are we required to do blind spot check when making every turn irrespective of we being at the left or right most lane?
1) No, it Distracts the driver, especially if the driver doesn’t have a good control of the car 2) No, if you are turning from the appropriate lane then head Check is not Required, however if you are expecting some cyclists or bike May overtake you while you are turning then keep following it on the rear mirror as you are approaching to the intersection, you don’t really need to do the check if none is found to overtake you while turning
He drives the best I've ever seen.

you shouldn't have to accelerate, just maintain the speed.

is it a fault to have your high beams on during the day? the headlights we on throughout the drive
it doesn't impact during the day, daylight is brighter than the high beam. Yet, turn it off as soon as you notice it.
