So glad you are safe. It might have been very different. Your small knife might not have easily cut the strap; you could have grown fatigued from the effort, then you might have dropped the knife out of reach. May I suggest: never venture into a cave alone.

Hello Vanessa, you look better than most of us in the morning. Just got back from an overnighter in thetford woods (england) and found an area where all trees in maybe a 40 square metre area chopped down,at least twenty bagfulls of rubbish, several airbeds, broken pumps, bottles and last but not least a homemade portaloo complete with seat and toilet roll holder! The important part is you regained your calm after a momentary bout of panic. That makes all the difference ! Caving in tight crawlspaces easily cause people to have a bout of panic or claustrophobia. Good job pulling thru my friend !

Glad you made it out of the cave. You have to work your way through these problems and not panic which you did and the sense of achievement when you come out is great. Interesting cave in fact an interesting place in general. You make such lovely meals. I survive on ready meals and that rubbish you add boiling water to when I'm wild camping.

Your little flying mouse in Latin is a Vespertilio better known as a Bat. Good for eating in a broth /soup if your stuck. You did it right again in the cave or hole, stay calm, work it out, get safe, and relax, but always best to go with someone else along.Another great video, well done.Arthur (UK)

I am claustrophobic (fearful of small spaces) so I did not enjoy the cave. And you got stuck! I loved your camping place. And that steak looked very tasty.

Someone looks good in the morning, in the afternoon, and stuck in a bat cave. Seeing real fear, and then watching you manage the panic and extricate yourself was amazing in a U-Toob vid. And then you deprecate yourself for supposedly not looking good the next morning...WRONG! You are a lovely woman, and a great outdoors-woman. Don't run yourself down. I am claustrophobic, I'd have gone ape-sh*t crazy in that cave, especially if I had gotten myself stuck. A great adventure for you to share with us. Thank you.

There is a breathing technique for dealing with stress, anxiety, panic, and adrenaline dumps. People who suffer from PTSD use it when they have an attack. Maybe look it up, learn how to do it, it might help you maintain your mind in a bad situation. Personally, caves are not my thing, but I’m glad you are doing what you enjoy. Please stay safe. ❤️

Hello Vanessa, you look better than most of us in the morning. Just got back from an overnighter in thetford woods (england) and found an area where all trees in maybe a 40 square metre area chopped down,at least twenty bagfulls of rubbish, several airbeds, broken pumps, bottles and last but not least a homemade portaloo complete with seat and toilet roll holder! That was quite the dinner... big steak and wide variety of fresh vegetables...made me hungry just watching !!
The important part is you regained your calm after a momentary bout of panic. That makes all the difference ! Caving in tight crawlspaces easily cause people to have a bout of panic or claustrophobia. Good job pulling thru my friend !

Glad you made it out of the cave. You have to work your way through these problems and not panic which you did and the sense of achievement when you come out is great. Interesting cave in fact an interesting place in general. You make such lovely meals. I survive on ready meals and that rubbish you add boiling water to when I'm wild camping.
I really enjoy watching your videos as I am from the US you open a window to how beautiful the forest is in your country! Keep making them and please do not go caving alone!!! You're awesome!!

Your little flying mouse in Latin is a Vespertilio better known as a Bat. Good for eating in a broth /soup if your stuck. You did it right again in the cave or hole, stay calm, work it out, get safe, and relax, but always best to go with someone else along.Another great video, well done.Arthur (UK)

Someone looks good in the morning, in the afternoon, and stuck in a bat cave. Seeing real fear, and then watching you manage the panic and extricate yourself was amazing in a U-Toob vid. And then you deprecate yourself for supposedly not looking good the next morning...WRONG! You are a lovely woman, and a great outdoors-woman. Don't run yourself down. I am claustrophobic, I'd have gone ape-sh*t crazy in that cave, especially if I had gotten myself stuck. A great adventure for you to share with us. Thank you.

Wow! Glad you got out of the cave - sure was tight in there. A gourmet dinner no less. How cool is that? I'm sorry you had to find trash - it ruins one's experience. Close call in the cave glad to see you can have control of your fear in a little panic. Funny most people get a little scared when they see a "Bat" and you think they're cute lol. There is a breathing technique for dealing with stress, anxiety, panic, and adrenaline dumps. People who suffer from PTSD use it when they have an attack. Maybe look it up, learn how to do it, it might help you maintain your mind in a bad situation.
