Is BT-50 2011-2018 reliable? I heard there are many common issues on this vehicle. I wanted to buy a used of this but been told by 2 mechanics and few friend not to buy. Can anyone who owns this highlight?

Bt 50’s are a great vehicle. They are the same as a Ranger . Every vehicle has inherent problems and if you listen to all the wankers no one would buy anything. The 5 cylinder engine is fantastic and reliable it’s a ford puma engine been around since 2006 . The biggest issue is diesels are expensive to fix especially the injection on these modern engines. If you look after them and don’t flog them they will last for 500k + kilometres. Bear in mind buying any second hand vehicle has its risks however if you buy smartly with knowledge about the intended vehicle don’t hesitate to buy a BT 50

i gotta bt50 exactly the same as the ranger parts are cheap injectors are 400 suspension like 1500-2 id go for it no car is perfect but it goes strong if you want a perfect car i would recommend an old hilux
