There is a line that you can cross when you show off too much, and that line is: when you DO LOSE or F Up, you’ll catch hell x100.
As time passes vols batters may spend it by learning how to hit sinkers because that why ND used only a few pitchers with that skill in the series to defeat them.

I am hoping for the Athletic Director White to do a full investigation on how that happened. You win that many games and loose it all when everything was on the line. After you proved you can win 12-4. What happened with those referees. I want every questionable call fully invested. If their is proof against the call I want him barred from working a Tennessee game. If it was the coaches or players then do we really need them. I think in college baseball, the ratings are not much more than subjective thoughts. And it seems Tenn's pitching was a bit over rated. So far in the playoffs, nobody has lights out pitching on any team. Games are pretty much hitters to win or lose.
You don’t watch baseball. hate them or love them, this team was very very good. Sometimes you have a bad series. It happens, it doesn’t mean they weren’t a great team.
A TN team doing TN things. I am so used to tough losses like this. Happens in basketball almost every year. Am I proud of the team? Yes. But just like in basketball we lost to an inferior team that we should have beaten. At least TN baseball is relevant again. This loss goes to show how hard it is for a #1 overall seed to win it all. 1999 is the last time a #1 seed won it all.
I love how everyone cares about how much “class” a team has and not the fact they were one of the most dominant college baseball teams in recent history. The guys had a rough time in post season and couldn’t go all the way, but that doesn’t taken away from the accomplishments that got this team all the way here in the first place. ND was the better team this weekend but you can’t argue that they’re better than Tennessee overall. Tony Vitello has turned Tennessee into one of the top programs in the NCAA and this incredible year will have lasting effects on not just the team but Knoxville as a whole

Great to be a vol fan. Is anyone going to talk about the POOR low and outside calls and DOWN and in calls on lefty’s that really opened the strike zone and changed the game. It’s these calls that got LFer tossed and I have to say I’m glad he FINALLY said something but not happy with what he said. This POOR calls carried thru the entire weekend. I hope it ot reviewed and a report submitted to the ncaa about the DOZENS of balls called strikes. This changed the game and strike zone. Great season vols.

This Tennessee team hadn't won anything yet, but in all the time I've watched sports, I don't think I've ever see so many people want a team to lose. I am hoping for the Athletic Director White to do a full investigation on how that happened. You win that many games and loose it all when everything was on the line. After you proved you can win 12-4. What happened with those referees. I want every questionable call fully invested. If their is proof against the call I want him barred from working a Tennessee game. If it was the coaches or players then do we really need them. But anytime Tennessee has trouble with a referee it’s always at Home. Or am I the only one that notices that. Do we have the Mafia working there. Do we have a Traitor. It’s not just baseball. It’s pretty amazing all of these guys in ever comment section all over social media saving that these guys that worked their butts off deserved to lose. ND was the better team this weekend, good job to them. They are acting like this was a one time thing, Tennessee will be a force to deal with for years to come.

it doesn't matter who your team is, and whether you like these guys or not. you gotta tip your cap to them bc regardless of this weekend, they were one of the best college baseball teams to ever step across the chalk. it just goes to show you how cruel and heartbreaking the game of baseball is. Even today, Tennesee was a better team for 6 innings of play. They won 57 games this year, and even after all of that, they dont't get to play for a world series next week.
The coach left his starting pitcher and two batters too long. It's a shame their season ended like this.

I think in college baseball, the ratings are not much more than subjective thoughts. And it seems Tenn's pitching was a bit over rated. So far in the playoffs, nobody has lights out pitching on any team. Games are pretty much hitters to win or lose.

At least TN baseball is relevant again. This loss goes to show how hard it is for a #1 overall seed to win it all. 1999 is the last time a #1 seed won it all.

I love how everyone cares about how much “class” a team has and not the fact they were one of the most dominant college baseball teams in recent history.
The guys had a rough time in post season and couldn’t go all the way, but that doesn’t taken away from the accomplishments that got this team all the way here in the first place.
ND was the better team this weekend but you can’t argue that they’re better than Tennessee overall.
Tony Vitello has turned Tennessee into one of the top programs in the NCAA and this incredible year will have lasting effects on not just the team but Knoxville as a whole
The accomplishment this team has is simply winning the SEC and SEC Tournament. Then losing a Super Regional at home. That’s it.
One of the most dominant teams that nobody outside of Knoxville will remember in 10+ years. Good for them

Great to be a vol fan. Is anyone going to talk about the POOR low and outside calls and DOWN and in calls on lefty’s that really opened the strike zone and changed the game. It’s these calls that got LFer tossed and I have to say I’m glad he FINALLY said something but not happy with what he said. This POOR calls carried thru the entire weekend. I hope it ot reviewed and a report submitted to the ncaa about the DOZENS of balls called strikes. This changed the game and strike zone. Great season vols.

This Tennessee team hadn't won anything yet, but in all the time I've watched sports, I don't think I've ever see so many people want a team to lose.
