In Jadavpur University, a tier 1 college, relatively low rankers take up Mechanical, chemical, production, power, civil etc. branches leaving CSE in some other college. I have never heard them regretting taking these branches instead they boast around being a JUian with full confidence. Many of them crack good IT jobs if they are good coders. One guy in 2022 cracked a >1 crore job in Google from Production engg. So future of these branches is not that bad if your college is good.

Ma'am mujhe NIT SILCHAR mein seat mil gaya as GEN-EWS male. Aur home state quota sae. Leikin mene EWS jo ha wo ASSAM GOVERNMENT ki format wala upload kiya tha. Jisme zammen ko lekar rules thode alag hotein ha CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EWS ke muqable. Aur mera DOCUMENTS VERIFIED bhi ho gaya tha first round mein hei. All students would ultimately go for coding. It means apart from metallurgy at IITB you would also be learning CS. Now imagine metallurgy is a Burden due the kind of topics it has, you would be miserable.
What to do.
Look at syllabus of Civil n Metallurgy. In case you are comfortable with both go for IITB. If more comfortable with civil go for ROORKEE. GOOD LUCK

Mam, kya aap ek planner provide kar sakte without lecture playlist, don't mind mam but it will help to maintain how much syllabus we need to cover in how much time
The planner can contain the chapter names with no of days to give to a chap and how much question need to practice on it. Also after what time interval we need to revise it periodically.
Please mam provide it as it will be very very helpful. I will surely get good rank with it.
