Great to see Oni back....my favorite metal story.....Oni is playing with Marc Ferrari in LA and George asks him to join Lynch Mob....and Oni says no....George replies...."Do you want play with a Ferrari, or drive one?" Classic metal.
Wow!, i really can't believe all critical remarks on this video, but I guess if your not an experienced player or musician you really couldn't be expected to. I mean there is no backing tracks being played so the band is not tied down and forced to adhere to the original version. There is no Auto tune on the vocals, and the band actually knows how to play an instrument. Music is about freedom, feeling and expression. To be able to reach the level on mastery in music that you can play what ever you want, not just by yourself, but with an entire band and be able to change it up night after night just proves how great these musicians really are. I doubt that many of these negative remarks come from professional players or those who play publicly on a regular basis and these remarks are really just signs of envy and inferiority.
Oni is one of the best, his vocals on the recording are simply killer. If you think his vocals here suck, well then.....you don't know a thing about music (real music that is) or performing it in a LIVE setting.
+BAJARACER43X The difference is these guys are original. Those pick up bands youre talking about are coverbands. Ask them to play something original. Im sure theyd be totally lost.
The1WhoKnowsTheTruth yup. In a high end studio, there's 1, 2,3,4, Parts layered over and it sounds so awesome with all the effects and back ground vocals and then you go play it live and your one fucking guitar player with three parts to play🎸😥
Ricardo Falconi Could be. ESP does put out a tele which looks identical to the fender.. The one in this video looks exactly like a fat tele w/ that humbucker in the neck position.
Why all the hate? Rock n Roll is about having fun and being free to create what you want. That's what they did and I think it sounded great. Its live if you want to hear the original listen to the disc.
While Ray Gillen was a great singer, I really am glad that Oni ended up with Lynch Mob and Ray with Badlands. Although both bands never achieved the commercial success they deserved, both of those debuts are two of the best of the 80s hard rock sound.
I quickly learned that after I posted my statement 3 months ago.... it's sad.... because he has a great voice and was part of the classic LynchMob formula!
All I keep thinking of is some old lady in curlers yelling out the top window of the house in the background saying I’m calling the cops if you don’t turn it down!
Um, you do realize he's going to be 58 years old, don't you? Are you watching the same video that the rest of us are watching? The guy is a fitness freak. And believe it or not, but just about everyone who sees him live actually wants to still hear him play what made him famous.
During daylight and sounding so great. This is the real deal, unlike the pop shitt, they don't even sing, just mime. Support live music, it's real people making real music.
That single-coil sound is week for this song. This was recorded originally on one of his humbucker-in-bridge rigs. He's trying too hard for an overdriven blues sound on what was originally an early-90s metal number.
The single coil sound is weak for this song.... good grief... Ok fair enough..if that's your opinion then your untilled to it... But why be so nit picky....does that really make that much difference...why not just listed to it as a piece of music and either enjoy it or don't. Criticizing a bloody pick up sound chosen by one of the all time great rock guitarist is.......well I'm beyond words right now. I can only look forward to seeing your video of you playing one of your huge hits to a huge crowd of ecstatic fans.
Lynch is playing the music HE wants to paly. and soes not care where so much. If your a true guitarist, you know he is one of the very best. Just watch him smoke dave navarro on a vid here on you tube.
No shit, I've loved this man for 25 + years, and he's just ... just.... *sigh*. It's George. There is no comparison. He's in GREAT shape, I don't know what the hell that richedie person is talking about or what they see, but that's so wrong. He plays fabulously, he looks incredible, and I'd kill to see him in person. I'd die (happily) of heart failure if I met him :P
I personally hate Telecasters.... I prefer a Strat for myself.... but I agree that Mr. Scary can make most anything sound good. That's why I'm a personal fan of his! :)
No see all the marshals on the wall turned backwards. The other marshall with tape over the logo .He did the same with his Randall rm100 if your going to endorse something you should use it like Eddie Van Halen
Agreed... HOWEVER...... never gonna happen! Don never wanted George from the beginning, over 30 yrs. ago, when it all started. I guess we have "Wild" Mick Brown to 'blame' for insisting on George be in the band.
I'm all for creativity, but the newly added guitar improv part ("Maaaooow") sounds a bit off and cuts into the vocals, not in a cool way though. But they still rock :)
Seems like 2012 wasn't a really good year for Lynch or the Mob itself. Thank god for KXM, it really did wonders for George's playing (even in the context of his other projects).
George is a great player for this genre, but it’s so incredibly annoying that he rarely recreated the original solo. And when he does it’s filled with all kinds of non-sensical bullshit.
Not saying he sucks. But the vocals are not strong for this song. the band is great but they could be better..and I know music.. Being a bass player for 20 years...
Goodness, George has gone down hill! Used to be my favorite....now he smokes, doesn't work out, looks horrible and still playing the same tired 80s metal style garbage! Yikes!!!
The one and only Oni Logan.... and the LEGENDARY Mr. Scary.... George Lynch! Great performance. Thanks for sharing the video! :)
Great to see Oni back....my favorite metal story.....Oni is playing with Marc Ferrari in LA and George asks him to join Lynch Mob....and Oni says no....George replies...."Do you want play with a Ferrari, or drive one?" Classic metal.
I had bass auditioned for Ferrari’s band when Oni was still in it. He left very shortly after that. Loved that Wicked Sensation album.
Love that metal story❤❤❤❤❤
Totally Awesumness!Go George.. they are Brilliant
These are the good ole days of ROCK N ROLL

Bill Watson Well said!
I agree with
Oni is one of the best, his vocals on the recording are simply killer. If you think his vocals here suck, well then.....you don't know a thing about music (real music that is) or performing it in a LIVE setting.
The1WhoKnowsTheTruth honestly, hes not doing anything special, i see little pick up bands in bars do the same thing
BAJARACER43X Those little pick up bands you speak of must be amazing.
+BAJARACER43X The difference is these guys are original. Those pick up bands youre talking about are coverbands. Ask them to play something original. Im sure theyd be totally lost.

Tnx mr. Know it all
Great performance!!
Love the sound of that Telecaster. Really cuts through.
+The One Above All I also thought it was a Telecaster, but it is actually a ESP version of a Telecaster, kind of cool!
George Lynch is a guitar virtuoso and a ledgend 🤘😎🤘‼️
Lynch improvising every solo😁
Love it, living on the wire every show. Works out most of the time
This man is awesome
GEORGE LYNCH WILL FOREVER ROCK MY WORLD !
While Ray Gillen was a great singer, I really am glad that Oni ended up with Lynch Mob and Ray with Badlands. Although both bands never achieved the commercial success they deserved, both of those debuts are two of the best of the 80s hard rock sound.
I quickly learned that after I posted my statement 3 months ago.... it's sad.... because he has a great voice and was part of the classic LynchMob formula!
awesome,thank u!
Lynch sounds great live
Alright kids, this is why we put delay and time based FX in THE FX LOOP!
Setlist for this show was She's Evil But She's Mine / River of Love / Mr Scary / Where Do You Sleep at Night / Sweet Sister Mercy / Wicked Sensation
All I keep thinking of is some old lady in curlers yelling out the top window of the house in the background saying I’m calling the cops if you don’t turn it down!
Amazing !!!! Thanks !!!!
George Lynch and Robbie Crane rules!
Damn they sound good
sounds awesome, love that tele driven glassy tone george is getting here. i just wish he would stop playin fills that arent on the record lol
now this is unusual: George riffing away on a Tele!!! made it sound great, nice to see him deviate every once in awhile
awesome................
smokin, thanks!!
Um, you do realize he's going to be 58 years old, don't you? Are you watching the same video that the rest of us are watching? The guy is a fitness freak. And believe it or not, but just about everyone who sees him live actually wants to still hear him play what made him famous.
And now? 69 years old and still rockin'!
Damn George is amazing!!!
They sound awesome, it makes me miss Gillen right about now
We all have our downfalls
i was there. i like it. God forbid they switch things up....
sounds as good live as on the album!!!
cool, thanks for the set list. Let me find She's evil but she's mine.
During daylight and sounding so great. This is the real deal, unlike the pop shitt, they don't even sing, just mime. Support live music, it's real people making real music.
This shit is AWESOME!!!
I like how Lynch plays the Mr. Scary riff on the verse of Wicked Sensation, cool. :)
SNARK tuner on his head stock...I just got one a week ago...they work great!!!
Love the telecaster
Sweet!
This sounds killer with the telecaster.
The entire show IS uploaded, all 4 1/2 songs!
I don't see a problem here
I wouldnt mind having a chat with George about this
Agreed!
CLASSICO
George Fucking Lynch. Pure excellence.
Oh and so does Oni, and Brain.
WOW ... i never seen George play a Tele before ??
Even with a Telecaster and a Snark stuck to it George sounds good.
oni sounds great, hell, lynch mob sounds great. fucking happy dayz
That single-coil sound is week for this song. This was recorded originally on one of his humbucker-in-bridge rigs. He's trying too hard for an overdriven blues sound on what was originally an early-90s metal number.
Agree man... also I miss the tight rhythm grooves of Anthony and Mick
The single coil sound is weak for this song.... good grief... Ok fair enough..if that's your opinion then your untilled to it... But why be so nit picky....does that really make that much difference...why not just listed to it as a piece of music and either enjoy it or don't. Agree
You know dont swear but take a cross bow
Lynch is playing the music HE wants to paly. and soes not care where so much. If your a true guitarist, you know he is one of the very best. Just watch him smoke dave navarro on a vid here on you tube.
Why is George changing the riff? Not cool.
22 years after this song is recorded and the singer doesn't sound any different except it's live compared to the studio version.
what the hell is up with all the delay!!!!!!????? at first I thought there was a second guitar player fuckin it all up
No shit, I've loved this man for 25 + years, and he's just ... just.... *sigh*. It's George. There is no comparison. He's in GREAT shape, I don't know what the hell that richedie person is talking about or what they see, but that's so wrong. ...seriously...the mint Tele is smokin'...
nice tele george
Please post the whole show if u have it!
you know what they say about opinions...
I personally hate Telecasters.... I prefer a Strat for myself.... but I agree that Mr. Scary can make most anything sound good. That's why I'm a personal fan of his! :)
I wonder if the George Lynch Randall amp is being used or just advertising?
No see all the marshals on the wall turned backwards. The other marshall with tape over the logo .He did the same with his Randall rm100 if your going to endorse something you should use it like Eddie Van Halen
FUCKING GOOD GEORGIE !
i think there needs to be more delay on the guitar
They didn't play street fighting man?
Wtf is george doing behind the singing 😮
A couple of talented and sexy guys!!!
Wow, Lynch on a Telecaster? Weird.
Who is the drummer?
The delay is hideous. Otherwise sounds great.
Agreed... HOWEVER...... never gonna happen! Don never wanted George from the beginning, over 30 yrs. ago, when it all started. I guess we have "Wild" Mick Brown to 'blame' for insisting on George be in the band.
wow that is a lot of delay. yikes
Is this a festival or a neighborhood block party?
I'm all for creativity, but the newly added guitar improv part ("Maaaooow") sounds a bit off and cuts into the vocals, not in a cool way though. But they still rock :)
Who is the lineup?
Sarcastic comment
Shit !!!! Gotta bring it down 100 keys please Check out Chillin Sun Killin this shit
Seems like 2012 wasn't a really good year for Lynch or the Mob itself. Thank god for KXM, it really did wonders for George's playing (even in the context of his other projects).
If only he could repeat his solos live.
se nos fue este wn ..
No it dont,not even close
LMAO
omg they messed up the song so bad :/ Only the drummer goes with the rhythm :P but like it even then!
Lynch burned out years ago... but in the early 90's, we were not privileged to see these guys in clubs.... he started lifting weights and got slow.
hahaha
a fitness freak who still smokes a pack a day... hmmm, something wrong with that don't ya think?
I'm being sarcastic, BTW!
How much delay does George need on his FK'n guitar...? SUCKS!
Damn, this is a lower key and the riffs aren't the same. I'd rather listen to the old CD....this is trash.
Being a bass player for 20 years...
parrish778 hey you fucker go fuck your self!!! .l..
Wow totally wrong feel on bass! WTF. Ha!
Robert Mason was amazing with Lynch Mob... but George want to experiment too much at that time.
I'm 51 and I could have sung it better.
Goodness, George has gone down hill! Used to be my favorite....now he smokes, doesn't work out, looks horrible and still playing the same tired 80s metal style garbage! Yikes!!!
Rich Veeck so when exactly did you expect him to start playing alt rock or djent? Dumb fuck
Oni sounded great! ..... always thought this song was a killer!
