You and your husband are my all-time favorite country performers! I remember going camping with my family and singing your songs from the This Kiss album on cassette tape; I brought the little lyric booklet with me! To see your arc is incredible, along with Tim! I loved this show; both of you did an amazing job, so much so, that I wish it were longer than one season! Big fan of the two of you and the careers you’ve built together and individually ❤️

I couldn’t continue to watch it. As a Christian the ‘G.. D..’ and ‘MOther F’ words were very offensive, hard to listen to and took away from the show! Pioneers didn’t talk like that! They were hard working Godfearing people! Never would the majority curse like that!
Especially, disrespecting the Lord by using His name as a curse word!!!

Thank you for this truthful comment - that bothered me as well and is highly anachronistic. It is a _very_ Masonic series with an anti-Christian narrative. The newer 1923 series is just blatantly anti-Catholic with no subtlety. A lot of the dialogue and behaviors are very hard to watch, particularly for the periods being depicted. There is also an overly sexual focus shown throughout which simply did not exist in our culture prior to the 1960s.
