A sad sight of our rail transport system. It used to be a prosperous railway taking passengers to the northern provinces until the southern ends of the island of Luzon. Now reduced due to preference on large highways in which only a number of people can use and afford to pay the toll.

Quite sad to see the state the PNR currently is in right now. It's good we're building new lines but the old right of way, given enough attention and maintenance over the years would have been so much better. Much like how the UK and Japan maintained and reconstructed older rail lines, as the current right of way of the newer lines are kinda out there. The area used by the highways could also have been possibly used for trains, and this would have benefited and increased economic growth within the city as well. But oh well, might as well move on from the relics of the past. Hope the NSCR and South Long Haul (especially the South Long Haul since I'm from Bicol and this would make trips so much easier) would be servicable enough. Just hope the PNR could once again be restored to it's former glory from the late 1800s; early 1900s.

The Philippine National Railway should be prioritized to rehabilitate upgrade by the Philippine Government rather than those Tollways/Expressways
