In this episode, Raz sits down with DIG Spica, NRG Contractz, and SR Tomio after their opening games to discuss what’s strong in the jungle, their thoughts on Bo3s comeback, and why none of their teams clinched the win this weekend. Spica talks about returning to pro play, and Tomio shares what it's like to play for the first time in the LCS.

@@rynejones8513 it was just a joke, svenskeren was the main jungler who played like 90% of the games that year. contractz played less than like 5 games. what spica is probably thinking about is that that EG roster was super aggro, they were very fun to watch. so when contractz subbed in, the team got even more super aggro and they just ran some teams over because of that. i wouldn't say contractz was the better jg though, that's why svenskeren played most of the games.
@@rynejones8513 man i loved that EG team. impact, jiizuke, sven/contractz, ignar, and danny (at the end, deftly sucked so bad). some of the most aggro players all on one team.
really hope the pros stay when next year starts up ): I love the idea of the americas don't get me wrong, but it would suck to miss this piece of content xD really shows you more of the personalities to our LCS pros, makes me reminisce about the throwback "Pro Picks" videos in 2012/2013

45:55 Looks like Spica's Summer 2020 debut was going 1/3/0 on Kayn vs. TL and Broxah's trundle (Game score was 2 kills to 13). He did come back with a win the second day of the week against Dig when he went 2/1/5 on Trundle himself vs. Akaadian's Nidalee (a game that was also 2 kills to 13, but for TSM instead!)

The LCS Channel needs to create highlights of the matches for people who cannot watch the entire live replay, or for people who would like to quickly rewatch some games. I understand there are other channels that do this but it makes no sense for the official LCS channel not to.

The pre franchise fan revolution is moving. Bring back full relegations, being back ten teams, bring back skill being the reason teams are here and not money. Bring back the times where immortals would never have been able to put zero effort in and last over a half decade in the league.

I suppose for the same reason that doing math problems is more valuable than watching lectures. It's easy to say you understand the theory, but you also need to get the reps of actually doing it to build the muscle memory
Because it doesn’t matter if you can see the asswhooping coming if you don’t have the mechanics and skill to avoid it. Maybe pro players know more about playing league than you.
I think in a good setting this should be done by a coach and then be presented to the players for a joined series preparation. I think in this format it will play an even greater role to be well prepared for the specific opponent, as its only a single round robin. Teams with larger/better staff will have an advantage in this format imo

I hate all of this talk about “trying random stuff” “not caring” or “fighting more” in scrims… I get you can’t 100% simulate a stage game but what the F is the point of doing any scrims then? These pros and orgs need to learn how to practice better because this isn’t working
From: “Western teams only have good scrim results because they try hard, while Eastern teams lose in scrims because they’re experimenting and trying new things”
To: “Why are LCS teams trying stuff and limit testing more in scrims instead of treating it like stage games? These pros and orgs need to do better”
Considering how often Korea loses in scrims during Worlds practicing vs western teams, what you are talking about is not the problem at all lol

Canyon or clid (I forgot who) didn’t know lee sin q executes. They are just better, it has nothing to do with information. That’s what a coach and analyst does
@@000df202 there’s a balance right?? If you have NRG coaching staff from last year, then maybe you can do that but in the current state of Esports winter where coaching staffs are much smaller, the players need to find any advantage they can

my god you're a hater. canyon famously didn't look at the map for the first several years of his pro career. different pros have different strengths some are meta focused like sneaky was but some care more about mechanics / team play than meta

Modern lcs losing- Biggest smiles on their face without a care in the world if they go 0-100 because there isn't a single consequence to losing. Lcs before franchising- Doublelift is retired lets write him a blank check to save us from promotion relegations to get him back in here since even if we aren't going to playoffs there is five players about to take our spot so we must be competitive= org has to at least attempt to be competitive.
Hearing Tomio talk about wanting Nidalee is extremely cringe. Nidalee has been the absolute single worthless pick in any draft so far. Nidalee is 0-every pick in LCS so far. I as a casual gamer would tell my junlger to stop picking Nidalee if they want to keep their job. Of course SR is going to be the 8th place team in LCS so it's not surpising they are doing things 8th place teams do. Keep picking Nidalee.

It's the dudes first set of games in the LCS and he got punished very heavily. Like definitely has more impact now that it's not BO1s, but he's getting good experience and learned that he is not in fact canyon
