Always loved the wide glides. What I don't like is the lack of parts available for them vs a sporty or softy but it forces you to be creative and come up with a unique ride. I'm doing that slowly but surely. The pipes are nice. Sound good down the road. Just enough to piss off the neighbors when I get on it. I don't see any real performance gain with them. I did see a small gain in doing the stage one air cleaner and pcIII. Just allows the engine to breathe better.
No, not if you're just doing a set of slip-ons. If you go full exhaust, then its recommended you do the stage 1 air cleaner, along with fuel management (fuelpak / pcIII / other brand)
Viewing that in high quality with the subwoof turned all the way up was a real nice experience. I'm sweating over getting a widey...can you tell me what you like, or would change about it? I like the white color, and also the black with the red pen-work. Thank you for posting the video. The bike I'm considering has the SE's installed. How do they perform?
In the long run your free breating front thru back probably keeps lifetime temps down lower and improves your engine life. I had a '04 1500 Classic with an early fuel injection that always read low temps, that said it was liquid cooled. It's for missing that cruiser that sends me searching for this wide glide. Do RPM or idle need be adjusted when swapping pipes?

I put a set of these on my 2003 Dyna Wide Glide. I think they sound real good. Not a straight pipe sound, but still a little rumble. Very nice !

@plechatam Mine is all rusted out between the two headpipes @ the collector. You have a garage so yours should fair better than mine did.

@ardvarkkkkk Can I ask what you're referring to?
240...would look cool but the bike will probably handle like crap.
