- Back in the 80's, one of the coolest shows you could watch was "Knight Rider". The premise? "A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man, who does not exist." That man was Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff). Along with his crime fighting car companion, KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand), he was unstoppable.
To celebrate its impact on our lives and everyone else growing up in the 80's, we wanted to visit the ending road from the pilot episode: "Knight of the Phoenix". It is here where Michael Knight drives KITT off into the desert, under a new role in life. The voice of his mentor and Knight Foundation founder, Wilton Knight, reminds him that "one man can make a difference" during the scene. It is a powerful moment in the show; come join us as we see what the road looks like today!

"One man can make a difference, Michael." - Wilton Knight
Michael Knight, a lone crusader in a dangerous world. The world... of the Knight Rider.

Nothing i mean nothing can never ever replace this never ever.
2023…. Just like it was in 1982, love it!
Knightrider is my ringtone. One man can make a difference Michael
brings back good memories
Wow, it hasn´t changed at all!! all these roads arround the highway look the same!!! Awesome, thanks!!!
Knight Rider hits like no other TV series.
If you know, you know folks.
OMG-goosebumps and I’ve got tears in my eyes
Kick ass...Thank you; glad to see it has stayed like it was.
Sometimes I like to think Michael and KITT are still out there, cruising the Highways 😢
The world sure does need some more Knight Rider right now...
Amazing, thank you. This means a lot to me. I'm mesmerized! Yes, loved in in the 80's....and yes, it's been a week since I seen a whole episode. One man, can make a difference, Michael. BTW: I named a business after Mr Knight - yes, pay taxes on it and everything.....
Thank you Carl, appreciate the kind words! Glad to know you were inspired by the scene and that you were moved by our interpretation. Good luck with your business!
STILL captivating.
Tv is so sad nowadays, I couldn’t tell you what a show is about or even watch it
Agreed! The 80's were the best time for TV.
Couldn't agree more
TV isn't the only thing sad these days Movies , and music also even going out is sad people are walking zombies on there phones.
That early ending was the bomb..after they dropped it it sure wasnt the same.
Thank you for this

Nice...!
The road still looks the same as it was back in 1982.
Super.
Thank you!
If i remember correctly, the 'one man can make a difference' drive away was only on season 1
This and a some of the roads used for filming are close by my late aunt's old property in Canyon Country. I've taken my own Trans Am out to some of them.
I was afraid there would be industrial construction now. Glad it looks the same.
There is a new housing development off in the distance, on the left side.

I would hope that every KR enthusiast who owns a KITT replica drives down this road. It should be a rite of passage for the super fans, and they have to have one of the following:
The ‘Hoff hair
The jacket
A hot chick in the passenger seat ( or a stuffy Brit)
Surprised it’s not all developed now
There is a housing development on the far left side of the road. Other than that, pretty much the same as it was. 👍
