After a power cut, does it start on its own and should we fill water everytime

Thanks so much for your question! Well, firstly we experience power cuts here in Malaysia too so here are some steps to follow to keep your HOB or any type of filter healthy!
1. Yes it will start on its own when the power comes back.
2. Always make sure to fill the HOB with water when it starts! No water in the filter can ruin or destroy your filter's impeller!
