This was an absolutely fantastic rendition of the song brother, how this hasn't got views is beyond me, hopefully the algorithm kicks in soon. Good shit!!!
amazing! what’s the vocal technique you use to so easily play the high chorus ? I’ve seen other covers people bulging their necks and blushing their faces to achieve this.. for you it seems effortless ? how is this possible ? Pls tell…
@@Todrianth thanks man. I'm so glad you like it. I've been singing over a decade actually, I'm 29 rn. When I was at high school I did try a lot of hard rock, heavy metal songs and messed up my vocal cords. Lol. But because of that, I know how my screams gonna sound like. And you shouldn't sing this kind of songs at the very beginning of your recording session or live shows. You need some time to do right vocal warm ups for you. Maybe do a couple songs that relaxes your throat. Do not smoke, no sodas, no alcohol, no sugary drinks, don't eat right before you sing. Just a room temperature of water. And don't afraid to sing that. You can watch Ken Tamplin, he helped me with this.
I don't know how you're vocal chords sounded before they got messed up, but now they sound amazing 😀. You have that raspy modern country style voice, is like you sing with vocal fry and distorse most of this song, then all you do in the chorus to hit high notes is like this slight flexing of your lateral neck muscles and you hit the high notes effortlessly. This last thing seems impossible for me, even with twang I still strain my voice and it sounds horrible. P.S. I hate Ken Tamplin, don't know how you've learned from him but nothing worked for me and also all that he teaches are hard rock songs which I hate. You seem to do something else with your voice effortlessly, so I was hoping there was some kind of daily vocal warmup that you do that trains this position your are in. Is it fry scream (doesn't sound like it)? is it distorse with mix voice ? (although is much fuller and not twangy like baby sounding...). Anyway thanks for the tips, and success in your singing endeavors ☺.
I don't like this version, but it's just my taste. A lot of ppl might like it. And I have to recognize that that's a personality or identity impressed in this version, that's nice for an artist
