Sonos Without WiFi

A Sonos music system can be hardwired with Ethernet cable so that WiFi is not needed and can be disabled, reducing exposure to RF-EMF for those who are concerned about EMF exposure. A hardwired system is also more secure and has better connectivity.
Note:
The Connect Amps in this video are several years old and are compatible with the S1 Controller App. Newer devices use the S2 Controller.
This system was originally set up using WiFi which is why we use an iPhone with WiFi to disable the WiFi permanently (ironic, I know).
The system is now operating via Ethernet cables that connect to a wired router. The speakers are also hardwired.
This setup requires you to use a laptop/desktop/tablet connected to the network with an Ethernet cable to turn on/off the music.
A retest the next day confirmed that the WiFi stayed off.
The client is now comfortable leaving the Sonos system on 24/7 since there are no RF emissions, which is more convenient for the family’s lifestyle.
