    That is one of the nicest bandsaw boxes I have ever seen! What woods and finish did you use?

      Hi, I have a AXMINSTER TRADE AT2552B BANDSAW 105096. I like it a lot, very versatile and reliable.

    Love the box loved watching you work hated the song on repeat tho spoiled the video.

      Yes I agree Mick, bear with me I’ll get better at editing!

    • @mickgad1
      @mickgad1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@onemanandhiswood no the editing was fine, I genuinely loved the box and watching you create it. Ever considered just uploading with original workshop sound? With a few annotations here and there of your thoughts and feelings through out the project?

    • @onemanandhiswood
      @onemanandhiswood  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mickgad1 the thing is, this video has got me over 4K views. It must be doing something right. I’m playing around trying to find my niche but it will take time. If you look at my other videos, you’ll see I’m trying different approaches. I’ll get there in the end.. Early days, thanks for you’re views though, appreciate it!

    Please stop crossing your hands over the blade. I recommend a foot switch and some push clamps. I would hate for you to lose an appendage

    • @onemanandhiswood
      @onemanandhiswood  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The blade is static Ronin, and the video has been speeded up which may give the impression of unsafe workmanship. But I assure you I am in control and push sticks would definitely not help control this heavy piece of wood better than two hands.

    Damn you waste a lot of glue.

    • @onemanandhiswood
      @onemanandhiswood  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Years ago I would’ve agreed with you Ben, but experience has taught me to chuck as much glue as I can into a joint - it squeezes out when clamped and also hides and fills any voids.

    • @jayelwin
      @jayelwin 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glue is certainly the cheapest part of the project

    • @DebraJoyW
      @DebraJoyW 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I looked up this video so I could see if the amount of glue was addressed...
