@@walktheworldaway I have a bracket clock a specially made Elliott clock what plays them. They one my favorite clock chimes They a hidden gem here. Guildford holy trinity the original location of them. Stratton in Cornwall are a grand version of them too fantastic ring of bells.
Thanks so much. The Ramblers' Church looks like it is in a bad state of repair - damp and moisture on the walls ? Probably not uncommon in England. Not all the churches get the help they need, I know 🙂 As others have said, there are so many .... Tks.
You are welcome Barbara. To be honest, this was my favourite church. It had such an ancient atmosphere inside and the isolated location added to its mystique. Look out for the drone footage of Walesby next week in the From The Air series on the channel. You get an awesome perspective of the whole area 🕊️
Absolutely beautiful the churches in the villages are absolutely fantastic but have you seen what’s happening to our churches in London and the suburbs they’re being sold off and converted into mosques and the little graveyards are being destroyed all the old gravestones I’ve been ripped up. It’s sacrilege.
It is a lovely area. If you liked Walesby you will love Tealby which is only a few kilometres away: th-cam.com/video/SmsbTkXMQ3M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5cMnyApqXYzud80a

Everything is always prim & proper in these British Walk videos, however I never hear a Lawnmower or see a Weedeater in action. Do they let the Sheep loose on the town every Thursday ?

The embroidery in the church! The churches there seem so unique- and yet open for everyone ❤
That embroidery was amazing. I nearly took it home 😉
What a beautiful video with a surprise at the end...the english countryside is lovely!...amazing, thank you👋👋
I❤ love the Churches in England very beautiful
Thr clock chimes at the ramblers Church are the guildford chimes. Only a fairly small group of churches have those chimes and this is one of them.
You are right. I mention the chimes in the video description too. I was lucky they chimed while I was filming as they sound amazing 🔔

That's a shame
I don't know why ENGLISH built a lot of churches there's 3 by me on just one road?? Absolutely ridiculous..
They definitely built a lot of em all over the country 😅
Presumably they're the different Christian denominations - perhaps one Anglican, one Catholic and one Methodist?
Not sure why it's 'ridiculous'..?
This was lovely, but I felt bad for the two lambs that were limping. I hope the farmer will notice.
Poor things 🐏
I now know where I want to live out the rest of my days That place is Walesby England, This video is wonderful, ❤🇬🇧

Sheep would be a great idea. But believe me, go at the wrong time and it's lawnmower hell. The key is to be there bright and early 🌅
