Joseph Prince Vs Kong Hee & 12 Church Fathers on Ten Commandments - is latest article
Kong Hee rightly said that the Ten Comd were considered important by Reformation Fathers for Christian growth & discipleship. Kong Hee also said the Ten Comd are viewed as vitally important to all denominations.
So, Joseph Prince, where are you going to hide your face? Malu (embarrassed), right! Once again, I have exposed you to be a Lone Ranger, who is fighting against the Ten Comd, alone and against everyone, not only in the Historic Church but also in the Contemporary Church.
I have heard from reliable sources that City Harvest Church has grown by leaps and bounds, numerically, recently. (of course, I am very very very very very aware that numbers are not all that is to it.) And I’m not surprised that those who are truly repentant, and I say again truly repentant, not church hopping, may have crossed from New Creation Church back to City Harvest Church.
This is not surprising at all because God can certainly use a truly repentant Kong Hee for His glory. I praise God for what He is doing in City Harvest Church. But our battles against Joseph Prince & his destructive heresies must continue.

Why would Joseph Prince love to attack the Ten Commandments so much? I don't think it is an overstatement. It is because you can hear and see how much he preaches against the Commandments in most of his sermons even though he always do it very subtly. It is because:
*1. Most of the churches do not preach against God's Commandment.* So, if he preaches against it, he would be the first to 'turn heads'.
*2. Most of the churches preaches sanctification.* As sanctification effort is always based on the moral value or principle that is taught by the Ten Commandments, he would think that the Ten Commandments are work-based (not grace-based).
*3. Most of the churches are under different denominations.* So, if he can come up with an analogy or a great story that says that the Ten Commandments are like the ten brothers that betrayed Joseph, he will get unlimited sympathy when the people think that he is also a type of 'Joseph' who is persecuted by the majority (of the 'law brothers and law churches').
*4. The Ten Commandments will remind him of his disobedience and antinomian nature*
*5. The Ten Commandments will remind him of his sin conscience*
*6. The Ten Commandments will take away his confidence when he lies*
*7. The Ten Commandments will 'puncture a hole on his pride'* and make him leak like a balloon
*8. The Ten Commandments will wake people up from admiring him* or worshipping him as their hero (or idol)
*9. The Ten Commandments are too 'sharp' for him to manipulate*
*10. The Ten Commandments will bring him down.* He has already foreseen (or rather received the 'prophecies') that one day he will be 'consumed' or *BROUGHT DOWN* by the Ten Commandments. This is probably the greatest fear that gives him the most motivation to speak against the Ten Commandments, with the hope that he can bring the Ten Commandments down before they will bring him down.

When Joseph Prince preaches against God's Commandments, he may seem to show that he has a better church, better revolution, better gospel, and better doctrine of grace. He may also sing better, speak better, double-talk better, and entertain better; however, he actually wants you to join his *PARTNERSHIP 'CLUB'* that was once filled up by the Pharisees who abused God's Commandment and took advantage of the people. Yes, they are 'super-devoted' and 'highly favored'. They are elites of the elites; however, they are also the hypocrites of the hypocrites who look like a 'tree' that has plenty of leaves in the temple or by the water; but when you go nearer to examine it, you realize that it is a 'tree with nothing but the leaves':
Mat 15:5-9 KJV But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; (6) And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of *NONE EFFECT* by your tradition. (7) Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, (8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. (9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mar 11:12-20 KJV And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: (13) And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. (14) And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. (15) And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; .. .. (17) And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have *MADE IT A DEN OF THIEVES* (18) And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. (19) And when even was come, he went out of the city. (20) And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
Please think, What happen if the Lord rebukes and says that to a church today? I think that church would wither off like the fig tree too.

I hope to tell all those who keep saying that we must not talk about Joseph Prince because he is a good preacher and a preacher of good things, Yes, I agree that Joseph Prince seems to be a 'preacher of the good things'; however, do you know that behind all his 'preaching of the good things', he is preaching something that is *MORE EVIL* than many other things? Do you know that there are 3 organs of law that make up a government: the Legislature, Executive, and Judiciary, but the most important organ of all is the Legislature which is the enactment of the law? It's because before there is administrative and implementation of law, there must be legislature, enactment, or creation of law. Please think, if a government will not tolerate anyone who attacks its organs of law, do you think that we should allow an antinomian like Joseph Prince to *BRING DOWN* the Ten Commandments which is the symbolic organs of law in the kingdom of God?
Isa 9:6-7 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the *GOVERNMENT* shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (7) Of the increase of his *GOVERNMENT* and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
In fact, it *DOESN'T MATTER* to me if the Commandments are put up or brought down from the wall of the school or church because they are now written in our hearts. However, when I watch the video again, I find that Joseph Prince is making a big fuss of it when he says that the Ten Commandments should be brought down instead. th-cam.com/video/u9O7r__U054/w-d-xo.html
Obviously, this is a clear indication that he feels so offended by God's commandments that he wants to bring down the Ten Commandments.
I will ask him, What's wrong with the Commandments? Are they some kind of curse that cannot be shown? Will it make a lot of difference if you put up the Bible verses like John 3:16 or Heb 8:10-12 instead? Of course, it won't make any difference when all kinds of Bible verses are put up on the wall when the people never read the Bible and believe. Obviously, I am not concerned if Joseph Prince will bring down the Commandments physically from the wall; however, I am more concerned if he has deceptively removed the Commandments from the hearts and minds of the believers.
      --------------------------------------------
*Today 19 May 2024* in his Sunday sermon, as usual, in a total turn of events, Joseph Prince changes his position on the law 180 degree, from thinking that the Ten Commandments should be brought down because they always condemn him or remind him of his sins, to thinking that the Commandments are now written in his heart for (because) God will no longer remember his sins. Joseph Prince is now saying that, since the laws are now written in our hearts, we don't need anyone to teach us the law, and therefore, there is no need to talk about keeping the law or commandments as Jesus has kept all the laws for us. So, I find that he is a double-talker on the teaching of law and commandments again:
*1. First he said* that all the Ten Commandments should be brought down; but now he is saying they are in your hearts and they will teach you. So, I will ask him, If the Ten Commandments will teach you, why do you want to bring down the Ten Commandments from the wall of the school or church? Will it be a problem if they are both written, on the walls and our hearts, to teach us? Will it be a problem if we write the Bible verses or Commandments on the wall or ceiling to remind us of God's words too?
*2. Now he says* that, since the laws are written in our hearts, all our sins past, present, and future, have been forgiven, we don't have to keep any laws and we are still forgiven even if we still sin. In another words, since God is the one who put His laws in us, we don't need to do anything to ensure that we will keep them. We are considered as 'automatically' keeping the law of God without the need to do or teach any laws. I will ask him, Do you know what does it means when the laws are written in your mind? It means that you will think of it, speak of it, testify about it, meditate on it, teach it, live in it, keep it, and do it. I tell you what, Only zombies will say that someone can just cast a 'spell' on them and make them do everything automatically without question. Or someone can just write a 'program' and put it into the robots to make them do everything as programmed. Are you a robot or zombie?

If Paul so opposed the 10 commandments like JP does, he would have said so. But instead Apostle Paul quoted the 10 commandments in his epistles .. Just taking selective bible verses & make it JP only school of doctrine .Stop saying more than what Apostle Paul said & what Jesus said & deceived the people !!!

I believe whosoever is against the 'big 10' as JP used to call, is against the Christian fundamentals. Yes, none have kept it perfectly except our LORD JESUS, but that doesn't mean we totally ignore or preach against it. The d_evil will love for Christian to be ignorant on the big 10 and certainly has his minion to preach against it.

That the JP keep renouncing and saying that the 10 commandments law is irrevelant is something that I stop going to NCC. After he has said that, you can be very surprised that how little that many of the Christians do not even know about the 10 commandments which are universal accepted and only speaks of God's love for everyone. In fact, there is nothing that the Gentiles that cannot accept such as cannot eat pork, beef etc.
As a matter of fact, Jesus himself tells his disciples that the two most important commandments are Love the God your Lord and Love your neighbours.
For a pastor to say that the 10 commandments are irrelevant, especially a so called pastor of grace, please ask yourself if you are in the right Church that can help you to grow spiritually.

agreed, had this friend (NCC) whom I grew distant because she held JP on such a pedestal that when even when shown the scriptures, her response was to say that she is confused, but would still firmly believe JPs version of teaching

The worst judgement is awaiting for him who teaches heresy to others deviations from the truth of God.
