  • Sa malutong nitong balat at malinamnam na laman, perfect ang crispy pata na ihain sa inuman! Pero bago ito sumikat bilang pulutan, una pala itong hinain bilang ulam? Sa video na ito, kilalanin ang teenager na bumuo ng orihinal na recipe ng paborito nating crispy pata.

    Ginawa ko ito according to instructions pero induction cooker ang gamit ko para mas pantay ang pagpakulo. 200 watts, 7 hours. Grabeng lambot halos humiwalay yung laman sa buto paghango pa lang, buti naisipan kong gamitan ng strainer. Direcho sa deep fry para tumigas ng konti ang balat. Sobrang nuot ang lasa. Ginawan ko pa rin ng gravy 😂 salamat sa pag share. Mabuhay ang Barrio Fiesta!

    I have an Indonesian distant relative (a distant relative’s husband). He never tasted pork, despite not being Muslim since he grew up in a predominantly Muslim country. He would eat about everything but the pork. He told us that when he moved to the USA, he tried pork dishes like BBQ ribs and loved the taste. But, when he met my distant cousin and introduced crispy pata to him, he made sure to eat it every other week. He loves crispy pata more than lechon, he says. Haha

    Mas gusto ko parin ang luto ni Lolo ng Crispy Pata,
    Pinakuluan sa matamis na tuba ng niyog at may luya ,laurel,paminta at sea salt na may tanglad at ajinomoto.
    Iba ang lasa at crunch kapag naluto na..
    He's been cooking his Patatim (Crispy Pata) for years. Yon nga lang for family recipe lng siya. .
    And of course yan Yong specialty namin ng father ko and me!
    Na minana pa sa pamilya ng Lolo ko.

    All these people commenting on the way she boils her pata pero in the ebd they're still watching it, wtf instead of criticizing her why don't you just use her as an inspiration atleast sumikat yung pata nila unlike these people who talks trash about other people, it's really disgusting that they would even go beyond her personal life and not focus on how they're family established and made a name out of their pata business.

    echos, yung 2 hours 3 hours sa pressure cooker lasog na yung pata mo. Yung 10 hours natural cooking pwede pa super low heat. Pero parang bagnet lang din proseso. Ang bagnet wala nga lang timpla, yun karne lang as is.

    Kalokohan... sabi ng lolo ko noong nabubuhay pa siya, kumakain na sila niyan noong bata pa sila. Ang lolo ko ipinanganak noong 1901. Sila siguro nagpasikat, pero hindi sila ang nag-imbento.

    Ang Tatay ko nakaimbento ng Shopao.
    Isang araw dahil pagod sa trabaho ang tatay ko at nahihilo, biglang nahimatay sya, buti na lang at may kasabay syang magandang babae na si Shamie. Nang pabagsak ng tatay ko dahil hinimatay nga, ang mukha niya ay tumalbog sa malalaking dibdib ni Shamie. At nakatayo sya ulet dahil sa lakas ng bounce. Medyo nahimasmasan na ang tatay ko, pero nagustuhan nya dahil sa lambot ng dibdib ni Shamie, nagkunwari syang hinamatay na naman, at nag-bounce ulet ang mukha nya sa dibdib nito, 5 times yon nangyare. Bounce lang ng bounce sa dibdib.
    Hanggang tumigas na rin ang tungkod nya kaya hindi na sya nabuwal.
    Bilang ganti sa ginawang pagligtas ni Shamie sa buhay ng tatay ko, Naisipan ng tatay ko na gumawa ng bilog na tinapay na puti, na parang mga dibdib ni Shamie. Dahil kalbo ang tatay ko, Opao ang tawag sa kanya (kalbo ang ibig sabihin ng opaw sa bisaya). pinangalanan nya ang tinapay na Shopaw. Shamie + Opao = Shopao.
    Kung binasa mo hanggang dulo ang istorya ng tatay ko, congrats dahil makakaimbento ka rin ng recipe!!!

    Totoo po ba yung 10 hours boiling? Or 2-3 hours sa pressure cooker?
    Parang over po, lalo na yung sa pressure cooker... Di kaya pati buto nun gulaman na... Pag ako kasi 2 hours lang na normal na pakulo halos malaglag na balat, yung pinakita sa video na to, tight na tight pa balat... Dapat yung chef nagsalita, hindi yung owner lang...
    Tsaka tip, mas masarap pag may star anis sa boiling...

    3 hours in presure cooker? Baka 15 mins. lang...
    Di po niluluto sa pan fry yung pata...kasi po tyak tatamaan kayo sa talsik...if u want safe n magandang luto...deep fry po...

    Frying it in vegetable oil is the worst part of cooking process because the vegetable oil is very unhealthy. I do this in the oven to make it more healthy. Or fry it in lard or coconut oil.

      you are right in you point in using healthy oil than unhealthy but what are we talking about here, basically do you think crispy pata is a healthy foood? Ganyan din friend ko masyadong health conscious but sometimes I wonder if her lifestyle will excuse her to experience death in the future?

    Sa sampong oras kulang pa yn pra maging crispy ang buto. Kng balat nman sobra sobra nman yon sampong oras. Malibn n lng cgoro kng maliit ang apoy.

    Bavarians are well known for their crispy pork knuckles though roasted not deep fried but still it's a crispy pork knuckle.

    1953 kinukuwento ng lolo ko nag krikrispy pata na sila simplehan nalang natin ung sinasabing naka diskubre ng krispy pata siya lang ang pinaka malakas na sumigaw kaya sxa ang nakilala unang nag krispy pata 1953 nag gaganyan na lolo ko ehh natutunan lang nya ung sa kaibigan nya 😂
