The water level not completely covering the load is the reason the clothes don't really get clean. You need water to clean!. Use this machine on the "bedding" setting to get the most water per load and the cleanest clothes.
I use the Perm Press Casual cycle option for regular loads on this washer. The cotton/ normal setting just lightly sprays the load on rinse which seems inadequate. The perm press casual option uses just enough water to cover the load and does a full rinse. It works unless the machine decides it’s unbalanced, in which case it will use Gallons of water trying to re-float the load into place. It’s a horribly engineered machine.
How do you reset it it won't lock and the numbers don't pop up like it should and I can't turn the timer on it or adjuster of what level in of loads that I want
When is the 2020 model of these two stunning super capacity washer and dryer getting released to the market? I’m holding off on buying a new set until they come out again.
The newer ones have a water plus option I have owned an LG for 2 years and if you have a slightly larger load just put water plus it helps a lot! The Maytag can’t compare to this one
I miss the old machines. A load is done in 30 minutes. My water bill is 30.00 a month. Electricity much higher. So how am I saving money with these long cycles?? Bunch of hooey.
Yes I agree. I think the old machines were better and I won’t get another one of these machines. I mean ask yourself why the manual says you have to wash the inside of the tub on the special cycle every three months. Since I stopped using the machine the way they say that to use it the inside of the tub doesn’t get dirty. It was only getting dirty because there wasn’t enough water to wash the dirt away so it was leaving a ring around the top same ring that was probably left on my clothes before I changed To using the bedding cycle all the time.
@@Meechka yes, and even the new top loading machines use less water. Some woman on TH-cam pours a bucket of water in the tub after it fills for more water.
Tech Guy No shit.. Again.. when you use the start/pause button.. the machine STOPS. therefor it is not currently operating / moving / agitating. It only operates when the lid is closed and locked... leaving you unable to reach in while it's operating.
As much as I've wanted to I can't figure out how to do that on my machine. It is an LG. But also.. that's not part of the machine's normal functionality, nor do a lot of people know how to do that so... lol
@@BroccoliBeefed People keep overloading washers, tearing up their clothes or having poor wash performance. That’s one of the reasons why we don’t have older direct drive washers anymore
This washer is absolutely a pain takes 3 days to complete one load of washing. I purchased because of consumer reports review. After I purchased it on this past Saturday my sister in-law told me that it was a bad purchase. It has my wife and I totally frustrated. I will never buy another and will see how to get a refund on tommorow. Buyer Beware!!!!
Why don’t make it easy to remove the drum since basically all the “modern” cheap made washing machines end up dirty af I’m tired of dismantling the whole thing to clean it every year… first I tried replacing them but it just keeps happening that really bad smell and the gunk inside the drum… whole thing has to be taken apart it would be nice if you at least made it easy to clean a better design… but nooooo you make it impossible a freaking mission to deal with this… or upgrade the damn thing. Never had an issue with older machines and now this is every year it’s so frustrating
I just run a cycle with a cup of white vinegar Do this once or twice a month..keeps it clean..I also do this for my dish washer...and toilet tanks..plus my coffee maker...keeps things clean

@@burningdust If you use the bedding cycle The tub will fill all the way with water. I also use the extra rinse option.
Could you advise where the liquid soap should be put in the top load lg machine
Mine has a pull out tray...but I just dump the soap in on the clothes before starting

I don 't get the caution, never have. The lid locks.. So how are you going to reach into the washer while it's operating?

Takes a while because the sensor moves the tub and spins it for a few minutes first
