I've really been wanting to see a good review of one of these. I believe they also have come out with a 3 drawer one to stack that one on. It would be perfect for a benchtop box to keep most of my most commonly used tinkering and precision tools. Could definitely benefit from some lube on the sliders. I'm definitely getting one of both. Thanks for showing it. This is the first time I've come across your channel, but I think we've got some things and issues in common, so I'm subscribing.
I have one and I keep it on my desk. I put small screw drivers for around the house, flash drives, phone charger, air pods, etc My only recommendation is to take it out out the box before buying to ensure the drawers slide out properly. A friend picked one up for me and the drawers don’t slide out that great. I’m Canada and they aren’t sold here so just gotta roll with it
I was at Lowe's yesterday, the salesman thought I was crazy I am looking for the pink one. I need it for my sewing, stuff perfect for that. I wanted to get one for a friend that loves to quilt.
In my opinion it's kind of pointless. If you're looking for something small and made out of metal and plenty of storage and willing to spend a little more, I would look into small vintage metal drawers. A good idea where to start if you're interested is look for "Neumade Slide Cabinets." These cabinets where used to store film slides. They come with 5 drawers that are about 13" W x 12" D x 2"H, overall dimensions of the cabinet are 15.5" W x 12" D x 13.5" H. They all have dividers but can be removed by drilling out the spot wields (don't remove the side dividers though). What you then end up with is a nice mini flat file cabinet. My use case is for storing small artworks and art supplies, others have used them for fasteners.
Been looking at these for months at every LOWE’s I go to and saw in their app that this has a ‘3 drawer’ base that goes with it; put both in my cart to buy (had an ADHD/OCD moment [🧠]) and forgot about it for a couple days… Went to order them yesterday and the 3 drawer is NOWHERE to be found.!? Not any of the locations near me or even online (just my 🍀), but I did the ‘notify me’ when back in stock thing; even though I don’t think they will be. Yet, I never saw the 3 drawer in any of the stores I saw them in 🤷♂️, anyways I plan on putting it on my desk and have it to store my art supplies (pens, pencils, markers, etc) and having the set would be PERFECT; 5 drawers and a flip top lid, now just have to find the base (which only comes in 4 colors I believe). THANX for sharing! [KOBALT is and has been my tool brand of choice for over a decade and will be ♾️]
LMAO my wife told me I need to make a series about trying random tools for the first time with no experience and doing home improvement projects after watching just one youtube video on it :X LOL
Im getting one because my bigger tool box one of the drawers is filled with sockets on thier organizers so this will hold all the other ones with the organizer
Personally I'm just looking for something separate from my tool boxes to hold my wrenches in order. I'm tired of digging through them looking for sizes in my tool box.

good advice !! I might get another and have it at my office to store supplies on my desk for a fun little accessory lol
I bought it for my
sewing machine presser feet...I added non-slip shelf liner to each drawer to keep the feet in place as I open and close it.

Awesome and love it! Just have to find a use for it.
I just tonight ended up putting a bunch of my air fresheners in it lol that use may change eventually but at least it's not sitting empty anymore :O
Exactly. I didn’t need it. But glad I got it. Now what to do with it?
I filled mine with air fresheners and have it hanging out on the work bench lol
Just went to several Lowe’s and they were order only. Putting rc parts in them
how come the Hobo Freight one has BALL BEARING slides and this one is MORE money and crappy slides? ... smFh
Harbor Freight was just running a special. The regular price is about what these cost at Lowe's.
After watching you cut a piece of wood once, I’m both excited and scared that you bought a toolbox. 😂

It's an optical illusion. These things are way tinier than they look on video and in pictures. They are literally about the size of a toaster.

You might be shocked at just how tiny these really are. When you see them in person you realize just how small and how little it will actually hold.

I like it.. Will cover Kobolt name with custom sticker.
Yeah I don’t blame you lol
Yep! Because I bought it for my sewing machine parts and it will be sitting on my table, I decorated it.
@@endlessdznsbycarrie8356 great idea.
Built by workpro. Shouldn't cost more than $15. That's what I payed in Canada.
I got one on black Friday for 12 dls
Good jewelry box or nuts bolts Drywall screws. You could give it to your Leprechaun friend I'm sure he would put his Gold coins in there.
I have a tackle box with basic tools in my truck. This could be a better option.
it's definitely a fun and cheap item!
Need roller bearings. Without feels just cheap. Need rubber pad liner.
Certainly the green would be cooler.
yeah I feel the same way now I have to order it lol
I don’t see its purpose for me, personally. I definitely DON’T like the gigantic “KOBALT” branding. It’s cheap … and everything that means.
😊😊😊
lol for sure not for everyone :P pretty sure I could get the Kobalt lettering off but this is why I went with the white box it's less obnoxious HAHA
@@HonestlyOCDIf others find uses for something like this then I’m 100% behind them. Something petty like a brand, just ignore me hahaha.
