yeah that's true, he has high quality songs, if he focussed on quantity then his songs will probably drop in quality, he needs to find a balance between quality and quantity to gain more fans. Right now he is only focussing on quality so he doesn't have many songs yet.
Its criminal how underrated this guy is. I'm so glad I randomly heard Fire on the radio last year. Introduced me to an amazing artist I had never heard of...one who has quickly become one of my recent favorites.
*Criminally underrated.* I fell deep in love with the first note of his voice, and the song makes me feel nostalgic, even though it's the first time hearing it.
That's how I felt the first time listening to this song as well. Incredibly nostalgic for something I had never even heard before. Just the emotions and melodies bring me back to a time and mindframe I haven't felt in a long while. There are people who listen to music, people who love music, and people who FEEL music. And this song does just that for me, incredibly underated and beautiful 💜.
As a fellow editor, I agree... and I also REALLY wish all videos would have credits listed so we could see all the people involved in making the actual video.

I fell in love with this song the second I listened to it. So glad that I found his music. Barns Courtney is seriously underrated, his music is so incredible!
This song takes me back to 2017, cool air on an early summer morning in Marietta driving on the road feeling the refreshing air and this amazing song blasting.
Just put strings on my first guitar today, even learned a couple cords once I got it tuned. Thanks for inspiring me to take up my first instrument, your music always helps my mood :)
He's so talented! I discovered him because of the song "Fire" and been listening to him for a few months.I can't understand why he isn't famous already.

Barns Courtney first came to my attention via The Theme Song To Netflix's "Safe" "Glitter & Gold" on his Attractions of youth album. Having not heard of him before, I then searched the Internet & listened to the album, Attractions of Youth (2017). The album was an instant hit with me so I then listened to his other album, 404 (2019) & I wasn't disappointed with that one either. I then purchased both CD's to add to my music collection. All the songs are well written & his voice/range is full of life, a worthy assault on the ear drums. I'm surprised I've not heard of him before on UK radio stations etc, but time will tell ! looking forward to his next album.
I love listening to songs that remind me of when I was younger. My life was so different. I hate that my older brother moved away. I haven’t seen him in 7 years. Arctic monkeys is his favorite band. Listen to this and AM bring back such good memories. ~Miss you Buddy.
The vocals and music to Golden Dandelions by Barns Courtney are very spectacular and innovative. The way that this colorful and original Golden Dandelions song is created helps a music listener easily visualize the potential of the type of story that can be created with this uptempo indie rock song.
Awesome job. I'm getting a mixture of Young the giant and Coldplay... in a good way! I think you're definitely on to something. I was listening to the song in the background but couldn't make out the words, merely the harmony of the chorus. It caught my ear and I finally decided to tune in and listen to the song in its entirety. I really enjoyed it.
I listened to 1999 and it took me to another great song, which took me to another great song. Everything I have heard by him, I like it. I like it a lot!

This melody for some reason i feel like I've heard it before, so weird has such a deja vu type of vibe to it. Like this song is beautiful

Lyrics:
She came to me in robes of white
In the corner of my room
A specter of the night
Silhouetted by the moon
We're floating fast over traffic lights
Bearing down on blackened sky
Colors burst as I close my eyes
Ooh-ooh, and she said
Lay me down in golden dandelions
'Cause I've been waiting for this moment all my life
Follow me into the dark
Ooh-ooh
She said lay me down in golden dandelions
'Cause I've been waiting
A thousand pictures in my mind
In a painting of the past
I'm brushing over lines
And I'll paint them all again
We're floating fast over traffic lights
Bearing down on blackened skies
Colors burst as I close my eyes
Ooh-ooh, and she said
Lay me down in golden dandelions
'Cause I've been waiting for this moment all my life
Follow me into the dark
Ooh-ooh
She said lay me down in golden dandelions
'Cause I've been waiting
'Cause I've been waiting
And aren't we bright
In the candlelight
I will cradle all these memories
'til the end
And she said
Lay me down in golden dandelions
'Cause I've been waiting for this moment all my life
Follow me into the dark
Ooh-ooh
She said lay me down in golden dandelions
'Cause I've been waiting
Yeah, I've been waiting
'Cause, I've been waiting
