I know you guys have basically unlimited future content, but I'd like to see a series that showcases the greatest heroes and villains of the Forgotten Realms like Drizzt Do'Urden, Mordenkainen, Elminster, etc. You guys could call it Faces of the Forgotten Realms or something. Until then, I'll just keep enjoying the quality content you guys are pumping out. Keep it up!
Question, does a Griffin have to be half Eagle half lion, because I've seen artwork of griffins that are half barn owl half leopard online, and I thought it was awesome looking

Y’all are young whippersnappers if y’all first encountered hippogriffs and griffons in Harry Potter. Back in my day (the 80’s & 90’s) we first read about them in Piers Anthony’s Chronicles of Xanth. One of the main characters (Crombie) was a griffon!
STAY AWAY FROM LIONS!!!! Great quotes aside, never fought either of these before. Closest I've come is a manticore (and I'd like to add that I was playing a bard/rogue and my only backup was a fairly useless duo of NPCs)
I wouldn’t be surprised if a griffon was one of those animals that everyone actually thought were real animals. Also, in the brotherhood of the griffon series they awaken their griffon mounts. Elfs also awaken them
so me and my friends have been playing where we have just finished fighting 4 displacer beasts and have a pack coming after us. we flee and make it to a cross road with 4 paths. we rest and have a humanoid coming from one of the paths fleeing from 2 griffins chasing him. (he had a party trying to fight them. is there any way we can have the displacer beasts fight the griffins for us and we can third party. we have a body of a dead displacer and a captured harpie. ask me anything for more info.
In my experience, having grown up on a horse farm, domesticated horses tend to live between 35-50 years. The lower 40s being the average. I also think it's funny that you find them to be so intimidating! They are usually very docile, and when they are not their worst attacks are still pretty flawed and avoidable.
My first exposure to these fantasy beasts was in some book in my elementary school library. Not sure how a book like that got into a Catholic school library...
I killed a Wyvern by myself and saved a dying Griffon Mother, tried healing it, but I couldn'y due to my limitations. I now have a baby Griffon named Ezriel.
