After the Asantes finished conquering they handed Sampa land fully to Frantama people because Soma was owed the land. The unity started from there because Sampa were from Ivory Coast.

Bro most of the times this confusion comes about as a result of politics. Because when you check history almost all those chiefs around the bono area swore allegiance to the then asantehene in 1935 or so. People have mistaken Asante to be some sort of tribe which isn’t the case. Unity is what is needed to project our beautiful chieftancy in Ghana to the world but the chiefs themselves are not helping too
I also feel the same pain, what was the main reason? Ignoring this glorious society our ancestors fought for. Hmmm.
@@atoapomakwame1612 As I said earlier I blame politics for this. The white man came to divide so that they can rule us. When they left the same agenda was employed by our own politicians. Do you know that they promised the then asantehene to be head-of-state if he adds his kingdom for Ghana to gain independence?
