Don’t forget what most people aren’t aware of when running any type of e-mix. The oil gets polluted so you’re prone to doing oil changes sooner. Full E85 cars do oil changes about every 2000 - 2500 miles.
I know this video is sorta old, but I run an eurocharged e85 tune and it allows the use of 91/93 in it too. I flip flop when I'm low and don't have ethanol at the pump. i typically run a max of e50.
@@TunedMercedes of course. But it still allows 93 and e85 fuel. Just limited right now to e50 due to fueling overhead. But i can still run 93 pump only if need be. Which is what I’m at right now bc i didn’t have an ethanol pump near me last fill up.
E85 is 105 octane. You will use about 30% more fuel on e85. The added fuel will have an added benefit of cooling the air. With its cooler combustion there is less heat stress on the pistons at the same power level. Is there any problems with the high pressure pump not being lubricated with full e85?
The inside of the engine will run cooler at the same power level but the more power you make the more heat. You will need to get an e85 to use ethanol.@@Jellbell46

very good point
thanks, good info keep up the great work.
Going E50 on my E550c this upcoming week via hptuner
post vids of new tune etc
I would be interested in that. I tried but was not successful. What did you have to adjust to make it work, other than Injector Slope?

@TunedMercedes hey do you know if we can run any amount of e85 on a stock tune/car?
What are your thoughts on water meth injection?
if it is done right it is good.

30% more fuel but 30% less per gallon. seems good to me.
Wait, so if i run e85 on the m157 it will run cooler? And can i run it stock or do i have to have a tune
