Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have a Hugh collection of canadian pennies. Today I found a 1955 no shoulder strap. In perfect condition.😊 2006 non magnetic. No p mark o queens mmark.

I myself have a 1979 penny that has the Queen on one side but total blank on the reverse side (mis-struck)…I found this coin when it newly minted in that year, possibly it might of been struck a year earlier or so…I contacted the Canadian Mint at that time and they send me a document stating how this could have happened. I was told that two blanks must of entered the machine at the same which caused the bottom blank to receive the tail and the top one to receive the head, so it’s rare. I still have the document along with this coin to this day as proof….In the document they noted how many pennies were produced during that period and how rare the coin would end up into circulation …It just might be one those holy grail coins that puts me on the moon….
What coin book would you recommend to me re Canadian coins. I think for US coins is the 2024 Red Book. Canadian coin book recommendation ? Thank you for your response as I just started collecting Canadian coins

I do not understand why the Dei Gra is so important. I have 3 (not the years you mention though) large pennies bearing that inscription. Are they all test coins? I also have a number (different years) of small cents bearing that inscription. I also found a tiny 5 cent 1919 that bears that inscription. They surely cant all be test coins?
I have 4 coins that are like 2 coins example penny with Lincoln pn bpth sides. . also f dime and penny strucke toger saw a video they called dirty coins where should I go to

I have a bucket full of Pennie’s nickles, dimes and quarters that are magnetic and non magnetic and that have the p or the other symbol

It could be rust on the copper
