Thanks for your kind words! This was my first video project; I recorded the VO in my little home studio. Glad you enjoyed it! I'll be posting a much-expanded version of an actual project soon.
So far, I have only made indoor pieces, but I plan to experiment with outdoor-ready materials. I will post the results when they are in, and thanks for your inquiry.
Hey Scott!!! I have been saving bottle caps. Are you still making your mosaics? I would like to use the ones I have. I work with Dementia patients. I have them place stickers on them to improve their concentration. I want to create more art with them. Thanks for your art. Awesome!
Thanks for your interest, Diane! I would be interested to see the projects you've done with patients. I plan to make more mosaics, but am on a hiatus right now.
Hi Scott, we are doing a similar project with a group of middle school students, I saw you used a computer program to help with the layout. would you mind sharing this? thanks
Hi, Marlene For a number of my mosaics, I did the layout in Adobe Illustrator. I composed "Big Bluegill" freehand. I also did a similar project with high school students; the video will be up soon. Let me know how your student project goes!
Thanks for your question, Marlene. I laid out some of my designs with the aid of Adobe Illustrator, using a grid that I worked out and circles sized to represent various-sized bottle caps. In the mosaic process, I referred to printouts from the layouts, but did not follow them strictly.
Your doing exactly what I want to do! Thank you for sharing this!!!!!
You're welcome - would love to see what you come up with!
Beautiful art idea.❤ Thanks for your sharing.👍
Thanks for taking a look!
You'd make a really good narrator for audiobooks great video great narration to go along with it 👍

@@scottgordonwills6580Sounds good can't wait!
Do you ever display your bottle cap art outdoors, if so how do you prevent it from bleaching and becoming brittle?

I am also interested in making a mosaic out of beer caps, I have a lot. I would be interested in collaboration
Also I was thinking of using colored epoxy to help create a better effect
