My mother was a horrible alcoholic and when my father died of a heart attack, when I was just 13.
My mother was horrible to me and my younger sister.
My mother caused so much drama, between my sister and I, dad's side of the family and eventually, I moved away to stay with friends.
My relationship with most of my family had to be cut off, because of my mother.
My sister doesn't like me either. We were treated differently, by our alcoholic mother. Seeing each other now, just brings up past drama. We decided to just peacefully, cut ties.

Empaths are very susceptible to "compassion fatigue" especially after being over-worked amd overwhelmed. Its imperative that empaths take care of their own needs, participate in fun activities and have supportive relationships of thier own. Grounding and recharging in nature regularily is also important.
