Just watching the latest vid, a message for big dave, what your saying about your staff, it actually shows on the kids, obviously we don't see all that's happening per day , but your staff are a bunch of good ones, hope the waggon is okay, Jordan did a great job stopping the fire and basically saving the truck and day, I really love these videos every Sunday and Wednesday, I look forward to them, also happy fathers day to all the fathers at d&j, and all who see this,
Awesome place to work...Great bunch of lads, plenty of variety and banter in bucket loads!! That's all you need in working life. Keep up the great work lads/lasses
The chats from the truck with Dave are a good addition. The best place to think and strategise in the car/ van or truck! Looking at another digger purchase then boys and girls?! Great video as always. Cheers
Nice enjoyable video dave stevie and team pleased ur very busy.bit of everything to see this week, glad you sorted the grab out and well done to Jordan for saving the day could have been alot worse only for his great intervention. pickles is a little sweetheart .
@@nigeats65 It doesn’t affect me at all. Is all I was saying is how nice it was for the boss to praise his workforce. It just shows what a great person and boss Dave is. And for being upset I’m sorry but I don’t understand your comment “Why would it upset me?”
other bosses probably cant praise their workers because they know they are underpaying them, so if they gonna tell they are smashing it they gonna ask for a raise or leave where someone pays more
Great video again guys….I do enjoy listening to Dave talking about the day to day running of the business… nice to see stevie progress in the business. Great team leader…people who know…know running a gang of guys and making decisions on who does what to get job done ain’t so easy so well done stevie my guy!!!! ❤
I watched this late for a change - great episode, o has the skills to pay the bills. I wish my brain would allow me to solve problems the way Dave does, but it just does not. Much respect 👍👍 Looks like everyone is working hard, a truly great team 👍👍
Perfect father's day. Just opened present from daughter and got a DJ projects t shirt and beanie hat. So had to watch the Sunday video now. Weather ain't much better in Devon! Love the vids, keep them up. Matt
Great video Dave & Stevie (plus all employees) bit different but enjoyed. Pickles was quiet in the truck until Dave said his name then he wanted to join in.
Great work how all you guys help each other. As for the bodging on the belt. It's called improvisation great job on the belt using the tools you had. Keep the great content coming. 👍
Thanks for a great video love the little video with Big D .We call heavy rain it’s Stotting down in Scotland love and respect to all the D&J family ❤️💙👌🏻
Great to hear your chats in the cab Dave and, really good to hear you praising your team, I think its a special quality when your team want to work hard to please you, there are a few football manager's out there that could learn a thing or two from D&J management. Stevie it was so funny, the video cut to an ad of some woman going on about lip fillers then it cuts back to you showing us your lip. I think you've had lip filling done and you're trying to make out it was a shovel. Hope your mouth is better. Have a great week D&J. Best wishes Christine x
Another great video I really look forward to your videos on a Sunday and a Wednesday Watching the video I was a bit concerned you using the woodchip there was no safety goggles being worn and it looked like he was squinting away from the machinery. Have a look at the video and you’ll see what I mean. Hope you don’t mind me mentioning it.
I actually like truck time with Dave. Happy Birthday Dave!! 🎂 🍰 🥳 Good video! Sorry that you have to fix the bricks 🧱 because the delivery person couldn’t realize that they shouldn’t drive on the unfinished drive. Might want to string tape across the opening so it doesn’t happen again. The grass that was left behind; if it’s in good shape, you might take it and put it down on one of your jobs where you have to dig up the grass a bit. Btw, I’m glad that Jordan was quick to put the fire out on the wheel and it didn’t spread!! That can be so emotional!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Great video as always guys The delivery driver had started to unload at the front of the property as instructed then a neighbour told him to move !! The company have been informed and will be forwarded video !
When running a business there's always going to be things that go wrong. It's nice to see that Dave has some knowledge that allows him to be able to fix things without having to have a service come in. It saves a lot of money. It also helps to have lads working for you that have extra skills also. I'm glad Jordan was able to contain the fire so the entire grab didn't get destroyed. Stevie Hoping the bruise in your mouth heals fast. From my experience they aren't fun. As always another enjoyable video seeing the D&J crew at work. Stay safe.
You have a great outlook and attitude on life Dave. A big part of your success. Fence looked fabulous. Bet it makes the client wonder why she waited so long. Hey Stevie. What kind of camera do you use? My camera doesn’t have a cute giggle.. Glad the Grab was fixed under warranty. That’s a relief.😅 Mr. Pickles wants camera time. Have a Great Father’s Day Dave. ❤
Good afternoon D and J team! Wow ....captain cool Jamie.... It definitely saved the day and prevented things getting a lot worse ... Nice to see a tarmac yard without a huge queue of traffic !! I'd be absolutely gutted about that pavor being damaged ....what a prize idiot 😮 Looks like the perfect tatmacing team did well.... Good to see the wood chipper working ....*old is gold* That power pack looks like a proper unit !! The weather was dire last week and Saturday was bad here including sone hailstones. ... As per a great vlog .... See you weds Gary 🦉🦉🦉🦉
It's a good job Jordan was on the ball with the fire extinguisher, that could of been a write off if you didn't have fire extinguishers in the cabs 🫣 Great jobs as always, I'm going to give you another call again because I need a quote on a drop kerb and tarmacing and couldn't get through 🤞😁
Hi D&J. Liking the Dave chats. My grandad used to say it’s not a botch if it works. Good job the grab was not too bad and Jordan was okay. And fixed under warranty. Like the way you praise all your staff Dave. They will appreciate also. Have a good week 👍
Even though you missed two days of filming, it was still a great video! Nice to see the morning chats with Dave, and how he plans the day. Milwaukee tools are a great investment, better than Dewalt, in my opinion, and Ryobi is a very inexpensive alternative. I have a set of Milwaukee drill and impact, and I love them. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Great vlog as usual, guys. A lucky escape with the Grab wagon. Excuse me if this is personal and tell me to keep my nose out if I'm out of order. Who's the young lady that Stevie has in tow? She was in Steve's car, I think, Wednesdays vlog then again in this vlog and we saw her in the factory. I think she first appeared in the chrismas party vlog. Keep up the great work.
Hey Stevie, Dave, excellent video as normal (and over an hour)😅😅 People will be prepared to wait if it's a good result. The weather has been all over the place this week, so your customers will realise that it's not your fault if they have to wait. Keep calm and carry on.😊😊
I got a question, i know the drives are massive and all that, but would having some sort of tarp tent over the drive when you are putting the resin down be something of a solution? I know we are grasping straws, but was wondering if this would work at all
I loved the 5mins chat with Dad (being shouted over by Pickles). Good work on Jordan saving the grab by thinking quick and not panicking. I think Stevie is almost all grown up now(still letting the tools-shovel-give him what for), running the business while Dave & Bernie are on holiday. He did a great job along with the whole crew. Also Stevie, never assume a delivery driver will know anything or care. Most do but never assume they will, why do so many trucks get stuck in odd places (TH-camr Ron Pratt has had to help out many GPS driver errors).
I definitely recommend another digger either taking it to different jobs and one in yard doing top soil or crushing hardcore keep it on top of it never going run low on material keep up good work 👌
Dave just a quick message, whilst you are talking in your truck, I can defo hear what's sounds like a dry bearing noise, may be worth while investigating,
Hi to all at d&j,loving the chats in the car dave so more of that please but you looked so tired so hope this week you are feeling a little less tired, please ignore some of the coments guys about the block work damage and other things as it's just your normal keyboard warriors who wouldn't say it to your face especially frankie boy,you are all fantastic guy's and us genuine watchers and subscribers love everything you do,have a great week everyone at d&j🙂👍
Great to help out the D&J team this week! Shame we can’t talk about it! 😂 team work 👊🏻

Credit to Jordan. It's alright having the equipment but to stay calm and do the right thing straight away deserves some props.
Do you not need to screen the soil out of the hardcore before crushing it?
A great all round video this time guys, it's good to hear praise for the workforce, as this goes a long way, and the staff feel appreciated 😊👍
More amazing jobs by you boys xx So pleased Jordan is ok. And sorry to hear of your accident Steve so pleased you weren't hurt too much xx
Awww how lovely Dave you spoke up for yr guys that was so nice of you Stevie hope yr mouth ok and no teeth broke tc all the oldies 👍👍👍

great piece of kit for the field lads
It’s great for the boss to say what a great workforce he’s got it’s a pity other bosses can’t praise their workers
Why would that affect you..? Don't get so upset about it..!

If your struggling with your resin jobs we use the moisture tolerant resin from vuba
Great work how all you guys help each other. As for the bodging on the belt. It's called improvisation great job on the belt using the tools you had. Keep the great content coming. 👍
Good video bit of a mix this week. Be interested to see how the power pack goes, could be a handy addition for the team out and about 😊
got the same VTOMAN power pack, excellent bit of kit, because its lithium it lasts well.
17 minutes later than normal… crazyyy behaviour from us lol 😂❤
You need to have a strong word with yourselves....unacceptable 😂😂
Great vids as always worth the wait boys

do the nails come through ? some kind of magnet be handy for grabbing them on th way out ?
The chipper is the nuts
Great video as always D&J . You could do with a big hopper on the wood shedder so you could load it with the grab or digger
I actually like truck time with Dave. Happy Birthday Dave!! 🎂 🍰 🥳

Dave you should suspend a powerful magnet over the discharge conveyor on the chipper .
Great video as always guys
The delivery driver had started to unload at the front of the property as instructed then a neighbour told him to move !!
The company have been informed and will be forwarded video !
Who let the old man deal with technology... "Its got Air Conditioning" 🤣🤣🤣

😂😂 love the interaction with Mr Pickles 😂😂❤
What breed is he please.?
A full video lots going on including the rain pity about grab as long as all staff are safe hope weather gets better so you can get resin done
Shouldn’t Jordan wear eye protection when using the wood chipper? Looks lethal
How do you get rid of the nails from the pallets out of the wood chips?
what nails....lol
@@Fanta.... lol
You should have moved the hiab right up to the edge and dropped the tar over the top of the cab

Nice vlog Dave and Stevie enjoyed it 👍
If you go karting you should try the Eddie Irvine Sports place in Bangor, Northern Ireland.
excelent guys cheers
You didn’t try the most important tool on that power pack- the kettle!!
AC=alternating current. DC =Direct current. Looks like a good bit of kit. And a lovely long video. ❤

Could you put a scaffold and tarpaulin cover over soil so that it is always dry for screening?
It was a great show again, could you drop Tarmack strait from the grab ??????
Hey Lads, another entertaining vlog, You could do with employing a maintenance person after all the mishaps you've been having.
Catch you Wednesday.
Top lads polite lads great content

Milwaukee is made by the same group as Ryobi
I got a question, i know the drives are massive and all that, but would having some sort of tarp tent over the drive when you are putting the resin down be something of a solution? I know we are grasping straws, but was wondering if this would work at all
problem is resin has to have a certain humidity no rain not too much heat its a pain in the ass to lay and work with and very unpredictable
Wear safety glasses around your machinery. Especially that chipper.
Didn't the struggler do your breaks. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Another great video.
I always like and watch in full but don’t comment much but seeing as you had a hard week then here a comment x

Really like the hour+ videos guys. Milwaukee are in a different league to Ryobi, pay more but the quality is far superior.
Where did you get the power pack from please?
You could bag the wood chips and sell them. I just bought 2 tonn.
Dave just a quick message, whilst you are talking in your truck, I can defo hear what's sounds like a dry bearing noise, may be worth while investigating,
Dave just cut the one buckle out on thr conveyor you can run with 10%missing
