I think the Golden State Valkyries are worried about who will load their team and choose in the 2025 draft the most talented free agent to be the face of the franchise, Elena Delle Donne, Kelsey Plum, Courtney Vandersloot. Apart from that, I see Marine Johannes, Stephanie Dolson for the Valkyries team.
Gettin Haley Jones back to the bay would be great…she needs a new scenery imo…she hasnt progressed as much as i thought in ATL maybe she can on a new team
Her style of play is the main reason I still don't understand why the ACES didn't protect Kate Martin. Kate would have been chosen over anyone on the ACES roster, other than the core four who were obviously protected. Why not protect her? Maybe it was something discussed beforehand between Becky and Natalie, especially since it was Natalie who fought for Kate to be drafted by the ACES in the first place.
Since Jewel Lloyd wants to be traded from seatle, she would be an ideal fit in golden state with her championship ring. If they can't get her then I would say Aerial powers. I gotta feeling the Atlanta dream won't keep her on protected list in draft. She got that dog and grit in her that represents what golden state franchise needs. Great show as always Ashley and Alicia
The teams don't have a choice. They csn only protect 6. With most teams at least 5 of those players are obvious and should come a no surprise to the remaining players. Should be no hard feelings.

I can't see Golden State taking Lexie Brown. It's too much of a risk. I'd want someone that I can depend on to be able to play.
I wonder how much of Aces style of play Natalie will employ--that might factor into player selection a little bit I think.

Haley isn't a wnba point guard. She can be a solid wing, but she's got to improve her outside shooting.
