You should make a reaction of this song (when it's released) in comparing to Minx debut "Why Did You Come To My Home" (because same group + Handong & Gahyeon). I think many people would be surprised, that they tried the (not working) cute concept. They were actually really good but the market was (and is) full of those kind of groups and in Korea the people are always looking for something special - and Dreamcatcher is special :)
Tom's Music Corner I actually like Minx back then and I can already see they have potential in their skill, but at the same time I also think nothing really special about them at that time. Like you said, Kpop is full of cutesy group, so they feel like just one of the bunch. So, glad they turned into DC, cause they bring something new to Kpop with rock/metal sound and dark-horror concept. Although, I think it should be noted, that they are not the first one to try to do that. Pritz had tried to do Babymetal style of music into Kpop, but failed. And for the dark-theme, there are actually some groups who tried to incorporate that element before DC, like A.Kor, Sunny Hill, Ladies Code, and Queen B'z, but it's more of as an experiment for one song/single, and not as an overall concept for the group. And DC is the first one to successfully manage to do this.
