So funny story about Jenna and Jonsal. I actually met both of them, having no idea who they were.
Elevation came to my church’s student night about 7 years ago. At that point, I’d never seen either of them on anything Elevation. Anyways, I arrived several hours early and saw two people wearing Elevation Worship merchandise, setting up the merch table. I thought they were just a few of Elevation’s interns or students that came along with the band, to sell shirts and hats. We even had a full conversation and not once did either of them make ANY indication that they were they for anything else.
Well, when it came time for worship to begin, both of them are on stage with Chris and Matthews.
It was really refreshing to see worship leaders that lead thousands of people into worship every single week and tour with a world-renown worship team that are humble as they both were.

Amazing song and incredible vocals. I love charismatic worship like the next guy, but I just don’t see where this fits in the corporate worship space. I can kinda see this being like a “war cry” of boldness in our faith in the Lord but it worries me that this is seen as a “worship song” when it screams rock concert vibes. Again great song- just not a fan of people treating it like a worship song because it doesn’t seem to glorify the Lord as a genuine worship song would. Just my opinion 🤷♂️
