My wife and Daughter are registered and the kids will love it. I am retired now and looking for new ways to use my years of experience in DIY. I plan on making several and painting them in different designs. A good idea to share with you is use and old wood knitting or even a metal one. Saves making a cone too. Love that you make the plan free - keep up this great work
Siempre me han apasionado los biplanos. El que Ud. nos muestra , es hermoso y fácil de realizar. Yo le agregaría un poco de color. Ganaría mucho. ¡¡¡ Felicitaciones !!!
Made this from your plans today in ash from the firewood pile. Just a few finishing touches and a poly finish to go tomorrow. I'll be making another half the size bigger as a bird feeder (which is what I was supposed to be doing). The plans worked a treat. Thank you for sharing. UK
Congratulations. Very well explained in the video and with the Cutting Plan it is much easier to understand the entire process. When I make mine I will send photos for your evaluation. I signed up with the greatest pleasure. Grateful
I just finished the plane and it turned out great. I used scrap walnut and it is simply beautiful. Please make more plane plans available for this retired guy.
Enjoyed watching you build the biplane. Also I picked up on your various jigs. That block of wood in the vise is a genius support for different applications. Your video has a lot of handy tips for sanding, drilling, detailing, etc. Thanks for this.
I don't remember exactly, probably birch, but lots of different woods would work. I used Odies oil to finish it, but any food safe finish should work. Good luck!
You know I think I loves this PLANE, Tyson.
And your the best on 2024.
That’s a great looking toy bi plane, can’t wait to build one for my grand children. Kiora from New Zealand
Wonderful! I hope they love it and you have fun in the process. Cheers!
Really good idea with the improvised tapering jig. I plan to build one myself.
