Strange, I always saw League as a friendship building tool. League was the catalyst for my four strongest friendships. It brings out the worst in people so you know what your getting into, it builds cooperation, and it's a consistent activity that, when familiar enough, allows introverts to have fully-fledged conversations without any obligations to continue. The game both strengthens bonds and provides for excuses to temporarily leave them. (Also there'll be less people who care that your bad because that's all they've known of you.)

Honestly, a main part of what I love about Matt's uploads are that the content is usually almost always fresh footage. So often you'll see every type of TH-camrs have just piles of videos stored up for in case when they need to upload something in a hurry; which I full on understand and, if anything, would probably still encourage because, don't broke yourself over nothin' homeboy.
But at the same time too, the fact that I can watch a new MagikarpUsedFly video and see Invasion in the queue actually and not fucking something as old as Legend of the Poro King, it just shows the actually appreciate and dedication Matt has for his works and his creations and I really respect because too often do people find their rhythm on TH-cam and then lose passion for their works. (Holy fuck, what a run-on sentence.)
But yeah, just a quick comment I wanted to drop out while in the middle of the video still; respects out to ya Matt.
He also implements the latest and greatest memes on the market, like at 4:14 that's Gibby (yea the one from iCarly), he made a youtube channel and has some quality vids but almost no subs yet Matt was able to just scoop that autistic segment of noises out of one of his videos to plop it in his video.

This is actually a pretty amazing video. everything was covered quite well. all you needed was a bit on runes and masteries and you could use this to introduce people to the game.
This is my favorite video and my second favorite is the one with money bags Mundo xD

Also helps that what they do and how important they are has changed ALOT year by year.
S1: Support important buffs to summoner spells
S2-S5: ... ... ... minor stat changes that somehow still made or breaks the game if you're not in a handicap elo (IME in Silver it didn't but I think my understanding of the game was above silver so I probably didn't need a big boost against silver players)
S6: KEYSTONES TAKE THE META KEYSTONES YOU TROLL
