The End of the Innocence is a fantastic album. Great lyricism throughout. Don Henley is an under-appreciated songwriter. I have most of his solo albums, as well as all of his work with the Eagles. Glad to see you feature him in this episode.
I remember Roxette. The story of how they reached the U.S. is really one of those incredible tales of one person bringing a record back and things just going from there. That’s really cool about the Don Henley B-side. What a great find!
Nice, Catherine. Roxette were a great duo, and their songs still hold up. I did not know that story about them, either - wow! Chris Isaak - no home should be without it. My favorites of his are 'San Francisco Days' and 'The Baja Sessions'. 😎
It's nice that you were able to find that 45. I have all three of the albums you featured. It was always nice to see Chris Isaak featured as I think that he is a very underrated artist.

@@RichStrickler Thank you, Rich. I agree. I really like Don Henley's song writing.
Way to go Cat 🐈

@catherine6653 Has anyone told you that you look like Donna Troy? Wonder Woman's niece .
@constipatedinsincity4424 Just you, Ha! 😉
Roxette was so cool! Love Don Henley solo tunes. Sunset Grill might be my favorite
@@TheAuditoryVinyl Thank you, Doug. I like Sunset Grill also. I like the imagery in the lyrics.

@musicisajourney Thank you, Peter. I really hope Roxette will come to North America next summer. I think Per has plenty of fans here.
@ I hope they do and you can go!
I love that Chris Isaak album! Played it to death when it came out. Now I'm in the mood to listen to it again. Great video, Catherine!
@@MarkMorris-1962 Thank you. I used to play my cassette tapes over and over until they broke.

@@RandyforRoyals Thank you for commenting. It is nice you appreciate and have the albums shown. 😊
Roxette was really big for the reasons you mentioned. I didn't know the background about how "The Look" was introduced in the US.
@@retromusings Thank you for your comment. It is always good to hear from you. 😊
Look smart is one of my favourites. I always thought Marie Fredriksson’s vocals on Paint was her most soulful. Easily my favourite song in the album.
