Kim says more than a dozen of her different personalities (she has over 100) are painters, including Judy the bulimic teenager, a gay man named Ken, and a mother called Patricia. WATCH NEXT: Sleep Paralysis Inspired this Artist to Photograph his Nightmares - vice.video/2Eh6BOL
"Ken hes a guy... a gay guy every painting he does he says its going to be a train... He never does a train so I dont know what hes on about." I love this.
This is so sad, so extremely sad. Imagine being so traumatized that you are disconnected from the specific parts of your memory and you don't even remember the birth of your own child.
Mictlantecuhtli I don’t think it’s sad, she doesn’t seem sad. I think it’s difficult and complicated, but it’s not sad. I don’t think she is sad either
@@saddaddytentacles9897 when we say it's sad, we mean that it's unimaginable what kind of trauma she had to go through as a child to develop this coping/defense mechanism.
I do not have DiD, but I do not remember anything of what had happened from the age of 12 and under, due to traumatic things that have happened. I do wish to know, but I don't believe that I am ready.
It is fascinating. Maybe she's tapped in to some type of spiritual "current" or something. I have a loved one, one of the most strong, beautiful, compassionate, intelligent people that I've ever had the good fortune of knowing, who is very much what I'd call a Witch. I used to go with him to the woods, mountains, graveyards, etc., not to observe, but to make sure that he was safe. I'd usually put in ear plugs and look the other way, as he never wanted to be watched. He'd talk about what he did, ritually, about what he believed. I read many of his books, and browsed through the rest. as I find spirituality, and religion fascinating! So much of it wasnt in any of the books. I'd say about a decade in to his practice, and eight years in to my knowing him, Traditional Witchcraft, which is decidedly non-Wiccan, became a bit more common. It was jaw-dropping to read through books of ideas and practices that he had been doing for so long, without anyone ever teaching him, or any of the books, particularly his, having those things in them. All the way down to his dual-faith observance. He's still fascinating all these years later!
Yeah it’s interesting, because some alter has to had learned it the brain can’t just come up with it (that’s why we have mute and deaf alters who sign in CSL and only exists in our mind and isn’t a real thing and we have to learn it) but the alters Dont share memory’s so the others don’t remember it
@@crownedcreeps The brain is strange. You've had people that suffered brain injuries that resulted in them speaking in different accents and some actually spoke in a different language
It saddens me to think that the personality with the sexually graphic art is probably displaying some of the abuse she experienced that gave her the disorder in the first place💔
@@B47ANCE144 thank you. I know this ladys work helped bust open things into the public arena. i don't think she knows she is SRA but it's clear by her pictures that a paedophile ring or satanic network was around her as a child. There are millions waking up to this truth right now. Jeffery Epstein arrested this week is the first of the big paedos to go down. the rest are to follow and the world will be in shock. bless you
Ria’s painting breaks my heart and makes me angry. Angry to even think that might have been the trauma she went through. Ria must be a trauma holder...
I do agree that it is amazing to see things like this, you don't often see DiD that likes the same hobbies, or that can express themselves in the same hobby, never seen that DiD switched host either, which to me is facinating. And to what PBJ said, it's ok, not everyone wants to know what DiD is or realizes it's something real, and that is ok, but do let others be, who they are.
5 secs into the video "every painting he does he says its going to be a train... none of his paintings look like trains so I don't know where that comes from." bahahahaha
@@saturns2749 It has nothing to do with rape or pedophilia. A train, in the sexual sense, is just that a bunch of people have sex with one, one after the other
Hate how art collectors and galleries were rejecting her paintings because she 'doesn't have a consistent style', except she actually does--each personality has their own style, if galleries could just recognise that she's not just one person.
If I were a gallery curator, I'd be demanding we run that as an exhibit. Label each painting with the personality's name as well as Noble's, provide some supplementary information from her about who each of the personalities are, give each personality a section on the wall so they're all grouped together within the main exhibit, that would be a truly one-of-a-kind show. It'd be like something the American Visionary Art Museum would do.
That’s the standard. Any other artist would have to follow it. They’re only interested in the range because of her condition. Otherwise yes artists of all kinds can make varying bodies of work but that’s just how galleries go. It’s not offensive, it’s not discrimination, it’s just preference.
It Just broke my heart hearing her say : bonny *was* the main personnality especially knowing that only her can recognize thé daughter and non of the other personnalities does.. It must be really painful for that girl to be beside her Mother Who doesnt even know Who she is and when when she switches to bonny, she, the daughter, must be really happy.. God that makes me wanna cry..
Makes me feel that the artist was a survivor of human trafficking. Or some sick family sex abuse. They almost always keep the kids anonymous if they are found and saved by authorities.
Half of the comments on this is “split personality is cool imagine not doing X and Y because of it”. I think this video doesnt really focus what it’s really like to live with multiple personalities, and how it can make or break a person and everyone around you either suffers or leaves you. This isnt just “I wish I had it so I wouldnt go to work and blame it on my other personality”, it’s genuinely a rollercoaster ride and nothing is great about it.
I DO appreciate though that she is trying to use her mental health issues through healthy outlets. If anything, the therapeutic components of her profession should be praised, but that should not negate her everyday struggles.
Thank you. I have anxiety and borderline tendencies, and I get disassociation and self harm. I only just found out the proper word from therapy the other day. I was just thinking, why the fuck couldn't I have got disassociation with painting instead?
Yes! I don't understand why people would want this. It would feel horrible being there for a second, and the next moment you're not, and you come back not remembering what happen. People have to realize this is from trauma. Other personalities could harm the body because of the trauma or could do something else and that's the scary part.
Vance Apollo a close friend of mine had 3 personalities that she felt confident to tell me about. It was so heartbreaking to hear how out of control she felt in the beginning. Sometimes when she would be in a depressive state or extremely tired I’d assume her mind would wander & someone else would take place. I can never truly understand the complexity of such a thing but it did seem very overwhelming for her. I can only imagine how difficult it is for anyone else as well.
I think Ria's pictures describe the horrible things that happened to her as a child. And just thinking about it makes me so angry, sick to my stomach and extremely sad. And if she really went through these things i think it's kind of good that she has all these other personalities cause they somehow seem to support, protect and make her forget the traumas. Idk how to explain...
Yep. Even worse, it was done deliberately to her, with the INCENTIVE of creating split personalities. An MK-ULTRA mind control practice is dissociation techniques (making reality too horrific to viscerally endure, one thing they do is impregnate you and then take away your baby, la Marilyn Monroe) in order to create alters and own the power of triggering specific alters to come out with subliminal images and symbolism. vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/the-world-of-mind-control-through-the-eyes-of-an-artist-with-13-alter-personas/ It's a huge industry thing.
That is exactly why she has these personalities to protect her self from all the trauma and abuse. She can't mentally handle it on her own so she created others within her self to help her handle it all. God bless her and her daughter.
The painting at 3:50 is very haunting. One of her personalities knows her past and she's locked in there. We get a glimpse of the trauma through Rhea (I hope I spelled that right). It's both beautiful and heartbreaking.
@@nosir4707 I think so too. What I find interesting is the use of the imprints. While there are six characters are in the painting, it could be argued that only three are real, since they are "full" people. Does that mean there were only three people present? Could she tell if there was more than one? Or do the imprints symbolize the creation of the alters? (That last one is shaky because the one on the edge of the bed looks like it has an erection, and the orange one on the opposite side of the POV is smiling) I would love love love to hear the artists perspective on this particular one, and one point that I have yet to figure out is the teddy bear. What does it symbolize? The people that just sat back and allowed it to happen, who were supposed to be a source of comfort and protection? Why do the "imprints" gets less and less focused as they get farther away from the bed? Or, is it that the closer they get to the bed the more they come in focus? This is truly interesting and mind-blowing
3:45 is the one that killed me, this one definitely follows up. It’s so sad. The girl that’s chained to the wall also.. I’m reading the book “Scared Selfless” about a woman who talks about her experience with DID and her life and it’s extremely sad and haunting. She goes into great detail about things she finally remembers years later after trauma therapy because of dissociative amnesia.
I was most surprised by one of her personality’s paintings depicting the Kabbalah. I paused and EVERYTHING is intricately relevant to the concept of the flower of life, with the ancient symbols of the planets, the Hebrew Scriptures... She’s a very special woman, a vessel of sorts.
Greenie Green shut up, I’m not romanticising it, merely appreciating the fact that she’s embraced her issues and made them turn around for the benefit of her sanity and her daughter. DID definitely makes someone extremely special, much like how people with autism tend to be highly intellectual.
Same here; that painting almost hints at some sort of of weird akashic record sort of perception, though it's more likely to be photographic memory it's still an interesting thought
Its because she grew up in a cult I think. If you watch oprah episode there is a personality called dawn. If you heard hermetic cult Golden Dawn. Most of the cults made horrible things into their experiments. There would be a character who keeps their secrets. The angry one that never really talked in oprah. I think she learned very different things and other personalities keep it. If you look at the paintings the traumatic ones are so colorful like she used lsd. And look at the horrible things. Like the most horrible and disgusting things someone could done to children. Everything make sense. The kaballah and the sacred geometri.
I cried when watching another documentary about her. Bonny came out and cried because she hasn’t been able to see Amiee in so long and didn’t know when she would be back to see her again. Bonny is her mom. Bonny raised her. Kim said, “I didn’t give birth to her,” So imagine, being a mom, loving your kid and only getting to see her once every few years for a few minutes because your personalities take over. That’s heartbreaking

@@wendzeg If youve been on drugs for most of your life to the point of overdosing, then that is not a very mentally healthy life. You seem to be in extreme denial (Especially if youre so pressed about people being emotionally vulnerable online), which is a very unhealthy coping mechanism. A lot of people turn to survival mode in a way of ignoring their actual problems. Of course people in a war torn country wont be able to actually deal with their emotions. Also panic attacks can lead to extreme shut down so anyone who is saying panic attacks are little are probably just talking about basic anxiety and should be educated on what actual panic attacks and dissociation is rather than insulted. I agree that many medical terms are misused by today's youth, but you saying that people should get over it is not a healthy way of thinking (And before you call me soft and say I have no traumatic experiences, I have a history of attempted suicides since the age of ten, along with other more personal stuff). Edit: Everyone has insomnia nowadays, thats like the least important thing to mention when saying "everyone is so soft" at this point its like a requirement to be an insomniac to get through education and afford anything.

Wow, when they said "all of the styles are so different" I was expecting small differences that a non-artist wouldnt really notice. But wow those are all drastically different.
Rias painting are some of the most moving pieces of art I’ve ever seen, and though they are graphic, Some stomach churning, I deeply appreciate rias ability to express and expose her experience.
I have been diagnosed with D.I.D. I have 5 other personalities. I've been this way for as long as I can remember. I grew up being sexually abused. I have the utmost respect for this woman and her alters. She is so brave. D.I.D. is actually fairly common, let's end the stigma shall we? ♡
I remember seeing an interview from the mother and daughter years ago the girl was probably around 14 I'm so happy to see how much both of them grew and how this worked out for the two 😭😭
The abuse that Rhia depicts in her art is just horrifying and you can completely understand why your mind would splinter like that to help you cope. And to then have that trauma compounded by having your child ripped away from you unnecessarily. I almost feel glad that Kim and Bonnie and the others were spared those memories. Absolutely stunning artwork and a lovely mini-documentary
It's amazing that Kim doesn't remember her trauma, the brain comes up with such intricate ways to protect us from trauma. I can't imagine the sheer amount of abuse someone would have to endure to reach such a point. Ria's art is so horrifying, it sickens me to think of what she remembers. I wish all the personalities the best.

Why do such cruel people exist in this world. I am so sorry for all the trauma you went through. Some of those paintings are hard to watch but it's great that she's shining a light on all this.
I think she's a brilliant artist, and despite all the nay saying, multiple personality disorder is very much a real thing. I'm also interested in this mason storm fellow...the man behind the mask.
I mean, the people saying its not real are citing evidence and you're just going "its very real" so I think imma go with them on this one. In the real world you actually gotta back your claims up.
I'm using the word argument colloquially, its quite obvious you're not qualified but it doesn't take a doctor to want to actually be correct in the things that come out of their mouth. Do you actually think that nobody but doctors have to back up things they say? Lmao
Vinny what evidence? And it most likely comes from people who believe in that fake god guy. And doesn't believe mental illness is real. People like that are the problem.
Do you think it's Susie who gave birth to Amy? Because her painting was about mother and baby and when she didn't drew any mother and baby picture was because she was traumatised when Amy was put in adoption?
No, that was Dawn. According to Kim's autobiography it was Dawn who delivered Aimee via C-section and watched her be taken away before the body's defense mechanism made her switch. That's why she's still stuck in the year Aimee was born x
Yep. Her condition is not rare. This is all done deliberately to many children with the incentive of creating split personalities. Sadly the art reminds me of satan8c ritual abuse. Children bound and in cages. So sad because a lot of D.I.D. forms with ritual trauma. They split to protect the mind or even with MK ultra. She is a beautiful woman and artist and im SO GLAD her beautiful daughter got to stay with her and adores her art and her beautiful mother
Ghost Face No it’s a myth. Literally look it up, therapists used to feed false memories to children and adults making them think they were abused. There are 0 confirmed cases of it, as in 0 with evidence
Ahmed N That’s why I said it’s LARGELY a myth, it doesn’t mean that there aren’t real cases of it. False memory allegations and “bunk” science ruined the lives of people who were accused of ritual abuse. It’s a very real phenomenon but very rare as well.
can we appreciate how amazing amy is? for her to be a well estlabished young woman at university, amazing woman and heart of gold. mad respect for her daughter. beautiful soul
I'M SO GLAD THEY FILMED THIS!! I have DID too. We were diagnosed december 2016. There's roughly 30 of us. We have always used art and music as our expression and coping mechanisms. I'm so glad there's exposure for this disorder. 💕💕💕 Edit: 5 years of therapy and freedom from my abusers later, I now only have 7 full alters and a remaining 20 or so fragments. I'm not undergoing integration therapy or anything, I'm just significantly healthier so it's happened on it's own. We don't plan on integrating because it feels like the death of family members, so I'll be cruising around with these 7 and myself for the rest of my life, probably. Also, we're an art teacher now!
just a fascinating story & the artwork is gut wrenchingly real. my sisters & I were all victims of sexual abuse as children. one sister drank & smoked herself to death, the other sister completely blocked it out & has no memory of it & I remember every second of it like it was yesterday. we have a lot to learn about not only the human mind but the human condition & the abuse of children that continues virtually unabated bc the perpetrators almost never are charged or prosecuted. if we want to protect children we have to abolish the statute of limitations on crimes of this nature
omg i remember this little girl crying on opras show, i was heartbroken. now she has grown up to be such a beautiful and intelligent woman and i look up to that
Thank you for doing this piece! So many people either don’t fully understand DID, or just outright don’t believe it exists, even scholars and mental health professionals, which is scary. I, also, have DID, and, like her, did not realize it until later in life. I have myself, which is my primary identity, and at least 4 alters, that I am aware of. My childhood memories are mostly nonexistent, and I thought it was like that for everyone. I started to wonder, though, after communicating online with people I grew up with basically my entire life, and they had all these memories of me, and I had none. Who was I all that time? I hope people see this and understand that not only is DID real, but people with DID aren’t dangerous or something to fear.
I wanna see more of Ria's paintings, although all are BEAUTIFUL, her paintings are so deep and shows the emotion and protrayal of their trauma. The story she tells are very sad
Are you out of your mind? In the name of being sympathetic, you are choosing to overlook/unsee the horrifying reality. How can you term something traumatic someone has experienced as beautiful? She is not in a healthy state. It's one thing if she is. Pray for her.
Tiara Pao the art was beautiful she made something horrible into something she can express. Just because it’s deep and to you “satanic” it doesn’t mean she is wrong for expressing herself. I’m an artist myself so I understand what art means to people I don’t blame you for being ignorant. It’s her story, her trauma. She has a personality disorder, besides that She is a normal person who has went thru scaring events. So her mind coped by separating herself from those events. Ria was created to help her cope with her trauma. To be able to express it in a healthy way. Would you rather her be on drugs or an alcoholic? You sound dumb.
@@aliyahbaby8931 I never said it was wrong for her to express. Read my comment again. What I said was the reality of her horrifying trauma that is still affecting her is masked with ignorance of spiritual realities. I agree with you with what you said about coping mechanisms. Our brain was wired to react that way to traumatic events. The truth is her paintings reveal the darkness of satanism. The devil works this way...he uses events and trauma to hold captive of people's minds. The paintings itself depict evil. The devil exists and these are his works. She has been tortured mentally, spiritually and it's not her fault. I have no way disregarded her as a human being but strongly feel for what she went through. Yes you missed the point of my comment. I was just surprised honestly at your comment calling her art beautiful. Because they graphically aren't but quite disturbing. Yet again, it's the devil behind it. Not Kim. And no, she isnt in a healthy state of mind. This is the truth and coping is not a cure. The love of God is. He is real. And His love is real. Kim needs healing. I hope this cleared some misunderstanding.
I love how every alter expresses themselves different on the canvas. Every style is so unique and beautiful. I'd love to see their gallery or just some artworks in real life cause they're absolutely amazing in my eyes
I have so many questions. Who are her parents? Where were they when all of this was happening to her? The images of child sexual abuse just broke my heart. I have no words for the sorrow I felt when I saw how the child/children in those paintings were being tortured. I want to know how this happened.
I read her book "All of Me" a few years ago so I don't remember that much about the relationship with her parents, only that they didn't understand her condition at all and that they used to leave her with a neighbor (in her words, people used to be more trusting with their kids, so they didn't do much background research of him of sorts, It is implied he was very shady). Patricia, the one who wrote the book and made this interview, can't remember what happened during those times. Only that she woke up in a bed and that's it. Also, much later in her life, one of her personalities, gave info to the police about a paedo ring and later they threw acid in her face in revenge.
I was shocked when I first saw Ria painting, every single one of them are loathsome, despicable and disturbing to look at‼️ I can not believe that anyone could look at it as a beautiful, great, wonderful art to buy for a living room in the house‼️ The only person who could want to buy it must be a pervert and pedophilia himself⁉️
I am so sorry for all the ridiculous, hurtful stigma. I don't have DID but I consider myself a community ally. I think overall the understanding and acceptance of the disorder is getting better, thanks to youtube channels like DissociaDID, Team Pinata, Multiplicity and Me, and all the others. There are still so many horrible people out there, and ignorant people who listen to them, but I really hope that someday no one will make you feel ashamed. You and your system are just as deserving of happiness, comfort, safety, and respect as any other individual on the planet.
I don't have DID, but I understand how trauma can cause mental health issues. I have BPD and experience disassociative episodes, so not the same but also deal with the stigma. We're not monsters or evil or anything like that, we just went through a lot at a young age. We shouldn't be punished for what other people did to us. Sending lots of love and hope you're safe ❤️
It really touched me when she said that all the personalities, despite only one recognizing Aimee as their daughter, love her deeply. Like, it just seems really sad and heartwarming at the same time
Usually I avoid videos about DID in fear of being triggered by them. There's so much stigma and hate and disbelief. It can be disheartening at times but I'm glad there's exposure for this (these) artist(s). It's good to see something positive every once and a while
Its such amazing to see her daughter grow, a minute ago i saw a video about her, and her daughter was still young and she said with a different personality that aimee is not her daughter and aimee start crying without talking it so heart breaking and after i watch this video i would say it is a happy ending afterall , aimee is 20 years old taking law and her mother becomes an artist and have this wonderful art work and aimee becoming proud of her mother such a good story . Thank you for sharing it is so inspiring.
I'm an artist too, and got diagnosed with DID and schizophrenia since a while, art is how I can communicate. This small documentary really made me feel less alone. Is there any way I could come in contact with Kim? I want to ask her so much...
This was so inspirational to watch as I'm an artist also with mental health issues ^ ^ I'd love to be in a position where I understand and express myself through my art and people recognise this. In fact I'm writing this from hospital and I make videos here! Slowly I'm getting there, and maybe one day I'll be in a position where I can show my art to the world :)
I have DID too but I don’t fully tune out when it shifts. Tried for years to submit my work to galleries but all of them turned me down because they thought I had yet to “find my style”. When I’m “in the zone”, a tormented creature comes through. I cannot converse with anyone. I have a disturbing smile on my face and for a long time, felt like it was a demon in my body. All of my most meaningful pieces begin with dark, violent, sexual images. I cry as the paint swirls around. Slowly, it begins to form and strange patterns surface. When they’re finished, I sit back and stare. I cannot fathom how I accomplished them or who painted them. Seeing this is moving. Her work has so much depth and emotion. It portrays an incredibly unique mind. It makes me emotional. She is telling her story and creating portals to her soul for the world to see and analyze. The feelings these pieces must stir up in others! This encourages me to keep painting through the pain, nightmares and flashbacks. To express the stories of each side. Art is so important! More important than the general population realizes. We desperately need it and I hope those of us with a variety of styles will one day be appreciated. If you would like to see my work, I can be found on Instagram. Chaosmagickandthenumber6
Wow, thank you, Vice for showing all of the art work and being rather honest about the representation. DID and mental illness is not a pleasant thing to endure, but it is so refreshing seeing some positive moments of people with these illnesses who have undergone so much hardship in life and are still able to smile and function in the world. It gives me so much hope and this was very informative as well. Thank you
Their art is absolutely stunning. Even the Ria’s drawing, as heartbreaking as they were, were well done. DID is definitely a very debilitating mental disorder. I think their art though, is such an amazing way to display the darkness AND light of their life and disorder. The human mind is so complex and fascinating.
This is so cool to watch, as a fellow person with DID. I love how her alters still work with her and support important things like her daughter, even though they don't necessarily connect and communicate together. They still all know what's important. That's so cool to see, and it's awesome to see the differences in art styles too! Thank you for sharing this story. ❤
It is amazing to know that , I am not the only DID professional artist. It is also amazing that her others have there different ways of drawings , because they are real people that help her to survive her life. I also been diagnosed with my DID in 2017. I am also a professional legally blind abstract artist , also living a successful life with my DID.
this video will always be one of the main reasons i continue to thrive to be an artist therapist. truly incredible what the mind is capable of in order to get your body/mind through trauma and how art can express things that can’t ever be explained with words. her stories and phases of life depicted through her art is unbelievable.
I suffer from this disorder, but not to that extent! I've been a loner for my whole life (30 years). And it's partially by choice as well as just the cards I've been dealt with, in terms of the people who were part of the certain phases of my life, that I just didn't like or couldn't form a social relationship with. As a result of combating the loneliness, I created an imaginary friend in my head, which eventually become this additional personality in my head! I am at a stage where I don't know who "I" am, because this multiple personality has been with be for so long! But I know that "this person" the one typing is me, but I have this voice in my head saying otherwise! What she is going through, and the extent she is having to experience, I have no doubt that she is being genuine. Because, there is no way some one can be faking this without slipping up at some stage! Plus, the mental stress from this will sure to be exhausting and eventually the person will give up trying to manipulate people. Plus, she isn't asking for a handout from the government in terms of benefits, by presenting this "mental health condition" rather, she is producing art for a living.
Yeah but anyone with DID who seeks to have healthy relationships with their peers has system accountability. E.g. you apologize if one of your alters does something shitty, and you take steps to make sure it never happens again. Without system accountability, life can get difficult really quickly.
Wait thatis Aimee?? Aww Gorgeous as she is when the interview before and she grown so much strong. I can sense and she also taking law 😍 I just admire her sweet angel of her Mother
yes. that is what this is from. Every one should know this. if dumb vice is going to post this, they should not be an active agent in covering up what this woman's origin of mental issues is. But of course they wouldn't touch that....yes anyway, this lady is a great artist, and it sucks that a large basis for her inspiration is pain, but really sucks that it is from a government project.
I'm sobbing.... She is so brave to step foward and talk about such a stigmatized thing. Each one of her personalities (Alters) are so unique and beautiful in their own way. Talking about integration is also so sad... It's hard to explain why it is, but each alter is a person by themselves. Not just a "personality." I hope that for the rest of the time they have, that they at least at some part enjoy it. ❤❤❤
Oh Ria honey I’m so sorry you hold so much trauma, that really hurt to see. I hope she finds healing and peace❤. Her alters art pieces are so heartbreaking but beautiful and expressive and awesome
This is seriously amazing. They are all incredible artists, and it’s breathtaking to see the way each of them uses art to express themselves and their inner thoughts. Simply beautiful
I understand the trauma that she's gone through because of her disorder, but can you imagine looking at the art of 20 different personalities and knowing that you did all of it?
Kim says more than a dozen of her different personalities (she has over 100) are painters, including Judy the bulimic teenager, a gay man named Ken, and a mother called Patricia.

A different personality remembers. So technically. She does remember. It’s just stored away in a box in her head.
@@saddaddytentacles9897 when we say it's sad, we mean that it's unimaginable what kind of trauma she had to go through as a child to develop this coping/defense mechanism.
annika vadr usually it’s sexual abuse related trauma as a child. It almost always stems from that, at least according to psychology.
I do not have DiD, but I do not remember anything of what had happened from the age of 12 and under, due to traumatic things that have happened. I do wish to know, but I don't believe that I am ready.
The fact that one of the paintings had a language she didn’t know (assumes to be Hebrew) is pretty insane.

Hate how art collectors and galleries were rejecting her paintings because she 'doesn't have a consistent style', except she actually does--each personality has their own style, if galleries could just recognise that she's not just one person.
Going off of that, why does any artist need to settle? Having a wide variety of works should be applauded, it shows skill in different mediums
Maybe cause it's shows what's going on in this sick world and the people would start questioning who these satanic pedophiles are
That’s the standard. Any other artist would have to follow it. They’re only interested in the range because of her condition. Otherwise yes artists of all kinds can make varying bodies of work but that’s just how galleries go. It’s not offensive, it’s not discrimination, it’s just preference.

Amanda S I'm so glad someone asked this.
art is highly subjective. there is no such thing as real or fake art
What do you mean real art?
Half of the comments on this is “split personality is cool imagine not doing X and Y because of it”. I think this video doesnt really focus what it’s really like to live with multiple personalities, and how it can make or break a person and everyone around you either suffers or leaves you. This isnt just “I wish I had it so I wouldnt go to work and blame it on my other personality”, it’s genuinely a rollercoaster ride and nothing is great about it.
Vance Apollo thought this was common sense. It's so sad people praise this illness.
An MK-ULTRA mind control practice is dissociation techniques (making reality too horrific to viscerally endure, one thing they do is impregnate you and then take away your baby, la Marilyn Monroe) in order to create alters and own the power of triggering specific alters to come out with subliminal images and symbolism.
vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/the-world-of-mind-control-through-the-eyes-of-an-artist-with-13-alter-personas/
It's a huge industry thing.
That's how DID manifests, in order top cope with trauma and to function in life
That is exactly why she has these personalities to protect her self from all the trauma and abuse.
I think it was supposed to be Rhea as the child, probably the reason why this is happing but I don’t want to assume anything
What an amazing story and her art is out of this world.
does no one here realize this is pizza gate right in your face
Ben Vinar what do you mean by that?
Indeed, her art is really something else.
I don't think it's "her" art...do the math.
So is she :/
I was most surprised by one of her personality’s paintings depicting the Kabbalah. I paused and EVERYTHING is intricately relevant to the concept of the flower of life, with the ancient symbols of the planets, the Hebrew Scriptures... She’s a very special woman, a vessel of sorts.
There’s nothing fun about having DID. Don’t romanticise the mental illness. It’s not fun. Trust me.
Greenie Green shut up, I’m not romanticising it, merely appreciating the fact that she’s embraced her issues and made them turn around for the benefit of her sanity and her daughter. DID definitely makes someone extremely special, much like how people with autism tend to be highly intellectual.
I LOVED those ones
That’s heartbreaking
call this one patricia, not kim. kim noble is the general name for the body, but the dominant personality who talks is patricia
what’s the documentary called?

I agree, there must be a reason for mind to shatter, the simple portrayals that they showed only briefly of sex acts speaks for itself.
How is this tragic? She's highly functioning and is able to express herself coherently.
The story she tells are very sad
that trauma was satanic ritual abuse
You can google them. Ms. Noble has a twitter and all of her painting are there.
I Love the fact that the daughter looks finally happier than before , bless you girl!!!
I love how every alter expresses themselves different on the canvas. Every style is so unique and beautiful. I'd love to see their gallery or just some artworks in real life cause they're absolutely amazing in my eyes
i remember the interview with this lady and her daughter from years ago!
it's amazing that she's become an artist. i wish all the best for her
It was very nice of Vice to interview the guy robbing the art exhibition, good to get everyone’s opinion.....
XD
😂😂😂 I was like wtf
I was shocked when I first saw Ria painting, every single one of them are loathsome, despicable and disturbing to look at‼️
I can not believe that anyone could look at it as a beautiful, great, wonderful art to buy for a living room in the house‼️
The only person who could want to buy it must be a pervert and pedophilia himself⁉️
She as herself was abused sexually for years and more horrible things, some of her personalities can cope with it and some dont
tubenshaft ria looks like she has memories of cult abuse.
Veronique428
It is clear to me that Ria painted those as a form of therapy. They aren't meant to be sold.
I have D.I.D (yes, actually diagnosed and in major treatment) and seeing all the comments about it made me feel so sick and ashamed
Don't let the assholes of the world make you feel ashamed. U
You are a beautiful soul created how you were meant to be. ♡
Their artwork is absolutely mesmerising. They need a gallery for sure, this is fascinating but of course I don’t want to romanticise DID
I’d love to see a vid of her like actually doing a painting. How she looks when she paints, her different methods, everything
The story and art work are truly amazing. I hope this lady finds her circle of appreciation grow. She deserves more recognition for her work.
As someone with cptsd and experiences dissociation, seeing that painting at 3:55 got me stop breathing and I started to get very emotional.
It really touched me when she said that all the personalities, despite only one recognizing Aimee as their daughter, love her deeply. Like, it just seems really sad and heartwarming at the same time
The paintings are so interesting, I wish we could see more of them
Oh my gosh! It’s been so long since I’ve heard about her (them). So glad she (they) are doing fairly okay.
Usually I avoid videos about DID in fear of being triggered by them. There's so much stigma and hate and disbelief. It can be disheartening at times but I'm glad there's exposure for this (these) artist(s). It's good to see something positive every once and a while
You’re an army right... BTS are going through mk ultra mind control too pls I was an army too.. they’re puppets to the illuminati satanic agenda
@@ruqayyah4948 what
yeah agree
There's disbelief because of all the fakers on tiktok, Kim is real though
The fact that there's a Kabbalah one is interesting...
What's kabbalah?
San Padre Jewish mysticism. Seeking to understand the nature of God (YHWH.) through his names, the Tetragrammaton.
Yeah it all ties into the SRA
idklol google plus satanic ritual abuse
@@goddessglow6996 SRA is very real but it has nothing to do with the Kabbalah. I think you got the word confused with cabal
Wow I bet they’re super creative.
does no one here realize this is pizza gate right in your face
Chiemeri well u can see cant ya
Ben Vinar I do realized it , especially with the paints that showed abused ...
amanda SRA?
amanda there is no such thing.

Thank you
How sweet that Kim is able to be with her daughter now! Also I love the awareness this raises for artists and viewers
I’ve always loved looking at her art on her website. I love each and every personalities work. Great to see this video.
Ria's work brought tears to my eyes. This woman has been through something terrible and still managed to be great.
This video made me have more empathy than anything thing else I’ve seen
Thank you for sharing her story!❤
It is amazing to know that , I am not the only DID professional artist. It is also amazing that her others have there different ways of drawings , because they are real people that help her to survive her life. I also been diagnosed with my DID in 2017. I am also a professional legally blind abstract artist , also living a successful life with my DID.
this video will always be one of the main reasons i continue to thrive to be an artist therapist. truly incredible what the mind is capable of in order to get your body/mind through trauma and how art can express things that can’t ever be explained with words. her stories and phases of life depicted through her art is unbelievable.
Woah, her/their art is crazy beautiful!
She can legitimately say “That wasn’t me. That was Patricia.”
Yeah but anyone with DID who seeks to have healthy relationships with their peers has system accountability. E.g. you apologize if one of your alters does something shitty, and you take steps to make sure it never happens again. Without system accountability, life can get difficult really quickly.
@@Iron_Stigmata i think he's referencing the movie "split"
@@BicameralMind I know, that movie was just absolutely disgusting and the way it portrayed DID was abhorrent.
That is a Extraordinary Artist, Aswell as Her Daughter ❤
Wow, she has such a great talent. Her pieces definitely speak volumes, especially Ria’s.
Wait thatis Aimee?? Aww Gorgeous as she is when the interview before and she grown so much strong. I can sense and she also taking law 😍
I just admire her sweet angel of her Mother
I'm a lonely 37 y/o gay guy...I'm tempted to ask "Ken" out
Michael Vape
Weird
Michael Vape wait so does that make you straight then? I’m so fxcking confused now🤦🏻♂️
FallenSwift boi what they’re both gay hahahha
alexis isabella but the body is female
FallenSwift i know, he just made a joke man, he’s not literally going to ask out one of this woman’s personalities
Keep asking questions
Obvious mkultra monarch candidate.
obviously a satanic ritual abuse victim
yes. that is what this is from.
Project Monarch
Shes gone through a lot
Ria's paintings are the scariest, really shows a glimpse of what she was experiencing as a child
her art is just incredible. Each of her identities has a very unique style and all of them are stunning
This is the DID representation that is good, not making ppl w DID as the villains always
Such incredible works of art. Keep going :)
